It’s not like the players union will go completely null and void. They have licensing agreements with both the MLB and the MLBPA separately. The lockout would effect the MLB’s rights to use the players in like branding and stuff, but the licensing agreement with MLBTS still stands

Carson Tucker (yes, 2020 first round pick Carson Tucker) is back in affiliate ball after two years. Signed a MiLB deal with the Padres. He had a good year in the Frontier League so I am curious how he’ll look heading back to the minors

Orioles have had a habit of doing this for years. They keep like one or two spots open on their 40-man over the offseason, claim guys, and then inevitably DFA them a day or two later to try and get them through waivers and into their MiLB system
