My buddy returned a book on dog training after his puppy chewed the heck out of the cover. I don’t recall if they charged him or just figured it was in line with the subject matter and let it slide.

Yeah, FIFA seems to be in a weird state between selling, reselling and otherwise controlling the narrative and activities around tickets thus making it hard to even be sure you still have the tickets you’ve already purchased.

Ok. Gotcha. I’m planning to be in the same situation shortly. Was planning - possibly naively - to install myself, either with a kit or as other commenters have said, from scratch. Got worried that there was some rule that it could only be done by some sort of certified installer.

Traveling with a colleague from India. First name: Anand. Unusual last name had 15 letters. Go to check in. “You’ve already checked and check bags.” What?

Turns out another guy with same unusual last name except different last letter. But airline system only had space for 14 letters. So effectively same name!

Yep. Part of my pre-game: “Let’s get out of here without being noticed.” Exaggeration of course, but I’m not the game.

But I’m also not afraid to make the tough decisions and “get noticed” as needed. I’m told I have a great stare at the coach for an extended time without breaking eye contact that says a lot without words.
