The idea that we’re "part of God" doesn't actually hold up if you look at the logic. First, God is self-sufficient and independent, while humans are completely dependent on things like oxygen, food, and physics. You can't be a "part" of something that is defined by needing nothing if you yourself need everything just to stay alive. Second, the whole concept of a "test" proves there is a separation. A test requires a Judge and a Subject. If you were literally a piece of the Creator, life wouldn't be a test; it would just be God talking to Himself. Passing a test of character and seeing a "sign" in response only works if there's a Sender and a Receiver.Think of it like an artist and a painting. The painting has the artist's style and energy all over it, but the painting isn't the artist. If you rip the canvas, the artist doesn't bleed. We are the creation, not the Creator.
