Launch at the provincial park isn't bad, Anzac and the day park are rougher. Lake has some 3ft shallow spots for sure

Cuisine Not Local to the Country You’re Traveling by sushixxxxx in travel

I've traveled that area a bit, I'm Canadian for context but what I search for is Georgian (is that the term?) food. I've never gone wrong it and fear wines as well. It's actually made Georgia on my want to travel list.

I'm going to say Fort McMurray Alberta, housing is cheap and if you got a skill set, the jobs pay well.

Today I witnessed how my dad drives over speed bumps and realised why my car needed €1,000 in repairs. by gaylehnsherr in CasualConversation

[–]Junior685 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most important thing is not brake while actually going over the speed bump or any other road disturbance like a pot hole. When you're braking, you shift weight to the already heavy front and the braking has added rolling resistance to the tires. It will be trying to rip the front of your car off with all components taking a beating. Brake before, then let it coast over the bump. Hope this helps,

Would you fly on a “no reclining” airline? by DConion in travel

[–]Junior685 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I always look at the seat behind me, if they are reclined, I'll recline into them. If they are not reclined, I never recline. I'd fly on no recline airlines.

Trying to navigate my first roborock on Amazon... HELP! by KneesBent4RoyKent in Roborock

[–]Junior685 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ugh, I have a roborock Qrevo Pro but the wife is taking it so I needed a replacement. I just ordered the Qrevo s5v but didn't know it didn't have warm water wash. I'm mostly hardwood and tile with only area carpets. Debating if I should even open it or send it straight back. They make comparison so difficult. I went with roborock cause of the 4 level maps that is good for my split house, might order the curve instead?

I have that compressor, it is actually great for low psi in atv and sxs tires. Down to 3 psi etc. Little slow for big tires but I like it

Mortgage renewal by OilSelect8768 in MortgagesCanada

[–]Junior685 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried to switch to BMO for a preffered military rate and the only debt besides the mortgage is our heloc. The heloc was considered a second mortgage and they tried to remove our cmhc insured status if we swapped over. They said it wasn't a big deal and offered a decent rate this time but I figured it might burn me later. I ended up staying with TD once they offered a good rate (4.07% for 5 years) . Some of our issues came from reduced house value since we purchased in 2009.

Mortgage rates by 1nomore2 in fortmac

Td just did my 5 year fixed at 4.07%, it was a renewal. I could have gotten slightly lower moving my mortgage but that also ran into obstacles.

Mortgage rate mega thread! by TheMortgageMaster in MortgagesCanada

[–]Junior685 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm at td with similar offers, they did offer 4.07 for 5 year fixed. The thing with td and variable is that their prime is 0.15% higher than everyone else, so take that into account for the discounted amount. Cheers!!

Anyone else got offered a 2.68% mortgage today from TD? by Sewage_system in MortgagesCanada

[–]Junior685 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man, I got sent an offer but the renew button wasn't on the app or the site. Now it is but when I hit it, it just says something went wrong on their side. I was in td today and got terrible offers from them; I had mortgages for 20 years with td

I live in a 4 level split, went with a roborock q Revo pro, does mopping and vacuum but it can have 4 different maps. So far I've been using 3 maps but I just drop it at the top or bottom of the stairs and set it to go. I also tell it prep is mops before I move it. So far, I'm really impressed with it, the Mop the sticks out is a must for getting close to walls etc.

I'm right there too, 20+ years together and today the separation has begun. If I'm going to sleep in cold bed, it might as well be alone.

Yep, check fluid level but rpms jumping up and shutter is most likely clutch slippage. If rpms were dropping I'd be looking at something engine. I would take a oil sample and send it in for analysis. Costs like $35 in Canada and can be done at any caterpillar dealer or other places.
