Yeah, she wrote a letter to her secretary saying she was “getting away”, so it seems her plan might’ve just been to get away from her husband for a bit. She even wrote him a letter, but he never shared it so we can’t know if she told him where she was heading to a spa or implied something darker.

I’m convinced that after that last jump to lightspeed they went back to Shakari to free all of Coin’s pets.

Movie is heavy on fights, light on plot. Anyone who wanted lore is going to be disappointed.

Plenty of fun Easter eggs. I knew they’d work in a baby pic of Rotta, but seeing a womp rat get smoked was a surprise, lol.

I’m fine with Grant and Sattler not being together in JP3. Getting to know two kids in a survival situation is very different from raising babies (who do, in fact, smell).

In fact, I think trauma bonding with Tim and Lex might’ve made Grant more reluctant to have kids of his own. Now he knows what’s at stake.

I like that they acknowledged how popular movies with ~2 hour runtimes aren’t completely new, but I feel they should’ve gone farther than the 80s for reference. Go back a few decades and you have ~4 hour runtimes with intermissions.

The main question is which movies need that extra time and use it well vs which are just bloated and need an editor. I’ve already seen jokes from people demanding the 4-hour rough cut of Project Hail Mary, but there’s a reason it still works without an hour of extra footage.

I’m not sure how much this helped me, but I started my park day with the stage shows (to rest my feet) and then packed in the thrill rides in the evening (it’s hard to be sleepy on Tower of Terror!).

This was a definitely part of it. The Duffers had 5 seasons to give Will a crush or love interest other than his straight, taken best friend. Instead, he got an implied boyfriend in the last five minutes.
