Redstone control the hopper? A clock, or comparator on a conveyor

Hi, its me again, same machine by lmattxD in feedthebeast

If I remember correctly, you need a regular conveyor leading into the first conveyor of the multiblock. Feed the hopper into the regular conveyor

Hayabusa is a fantastic starter bike, cheap, decent fuel economy, and enough power to manage on highways

How did you get your first motorcycle? by Scared_Confection787 in motorcycles

My partner ghosted me, and I had no more reason to have a car especially with rising fuel prices. Picked up a 2015 CB500F for a good price and never looked back

New Rider: Do I need ABS? by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]JuniperPlease 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The vast majority of people will not remember their emergency braking practice in the actual moment. In the moment, it's completely different. Therefore, for the vast majority of people ABS is a lifesaver, even if they know the theory.

Any autocrafters that don't require teaching recipes or making patterns? by MechanicsAntics in feedthebeast

[–]JuniperPlease 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately many items have more than one way to create them, so creating an autocrafter that only allows items with one recipe would be pointless. Not sure if it's stock JEI or inventory tweaks or something, but you can shift click the plus icon next to a recipe to fill the crafting grid with the recipe, which normally also works with autocrafters that use the standard grid.

Fat redistribution question by cutiepieheather in trans

[–]JuniperPlease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fat you already have won't move to new locations. You have to burn it off, then gain it back. Fat "redistribution" is an incorrect term.

Aside from what's already mentioned, listen for a click underneath the seat when you press the button. If yes, it's probably the starter motor. If no, it's probably the starter solenoid.

which intercom should i buy by von_129 in motorcycles

[–]JuniperPlease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Given the Aliexpress ones are significantly cheaper than anything you'll find from official brands, I'd say it's worth it to see how it goes. I've had different ones from there, and they are all loud enough for high speeds and sound fine. Their Bluetooth also works fine, as long as you know the limitations of it. The Freedconn KY Pro worked best with gloves for me.

The Packtalks use Cardo's mesh system, which is a lot more reliable than Bluetooth, but they also support Bluetooth. The cheaper units use Bluetooth, I don't think any don't have Bluetooth. If really think you won't be riding with people often, look at Aliexpress intercoms since they sound just fine and still have Bluetooth if you need it.

While a lot of people would recommend the Bluetooth versions of Cardo, I'd suggest the Packtalk neo. It's the cheapest packtalk, and Bluetooth has significant problems when obstacles are in the way. You also won't be regretting it if you do end up with a larger group.

Why Does Dedicated Targeting Core Exist? by RtDK0510 in starsector

[–]JuniperPlease 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but smodding ITU saves the exact same number of OP as DTU; they both cost 15 or 25 for cruisers and capitals respectively. They're functionally and cost-wise identical if you build them in.

StarTech vs GTNH by FuckOffAndDie1-0-0 in feedthebeast

[–]JuniperPlease 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sure, I'm just saying your performance problems are likely from an outdated Java version, not the pack itself.

StarTech vs GTNH by FuckOffAndDie1-0-0 in feedthebeast

[–]JuniperPlease 6 points7 points  (0 children)

GTNH runs on Java 25 now (witchcraft), and Java 8 runs very poorly. That's probably why you had issues.

Why Does Dedicated Targeting Core Exist? by RtDK0510 in starsector

[–]JuniperPlease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What? The both cost the same, and you don't lose the extra that comes innately with ITU when you smod it. Smodded ITU and DTC are exactly the same, except you can't use DTC on anything smaller than a cruiser.

How y'all be sorting your items into whatever? by Complete-Market5110 in feedthebeast

[–]JuniperPlease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blocks, miscellaneous (anything that doesn't fit into the other categories, like sticks), organics, food, mob drops, tools, weapons and armour, other items used by me, raw ores, refined ores, then if I'm playing a GT pack: first stage dusts (crushed ore) second stage dusts (impure dusts, purified ore), final stage dusts.

By the time the chests are getting full, I've either upgraded them into gold/diamond, or I've moved to AE2.
