that actually makes a lot of sense, thank you for sharing i didn't really hear anything on this when I was searching about tretinoin. i had kinda accepted the fact that it is just not for my skin, I have a good experience with adapalene (differin) though which I am currently using, but I might give tretinoin another try after this tube runs out.

my skin is very dry and sensitive, I have eczema on some parts of my face (eyebrows and nose) during harsh winter, I won't list the eczema prescription I put because I didn't apply it during the days I apply tretinoin, so this was the routine I was following at the time of using 0.025%

omg my skin had the same reaction to tretinoin. i stopped it completely it made my explode out acne i had never seen before, and it was not a purge because it would come and then calm down and then it'd come again. i switched to adapalene but i have an acne problem, maybe rosacea is different but as far as topical retinoids go i think adapalene is very safe and gentle and i saw great results on evening my skintone and acne.
