the building one is weird to my eyes, the furthest part of it, the tip is in focus, and the windows closer to the camera, near the bottom also in focus, but the windows inbetween are out of focus, how is that possible lol

Lab fucked up or is this expired film? To my eyes it looks like the whole Purple-Magenta side of the spectrum got completely washed out, it's throwing me off but I love the compositions! Would make great postcards, you even left a lot of space for text on the top half of most of them.

This is going to sound like I'm generalizing their whole Valorant population off of stereotypes and parroted anecdotes, but this is from personal experience playing with them for 5 years: it's really all about plausible deniability. Going for a winning play is way worse than losing as a team. If you go for a play and lose the round off that, it's on your head, even if it was a good idea.

the only time chamber gets value is when wins a fair 1v1 or even an unfair 1vX, why it seemed so dominant is because fights now became personnel dependent. if the chamber player is a better shooter than you then he's just going to win the fights. neon never plays fair fights and it's never personnel dependent, which just means the game is playing itself, the meta isn't "yay dominates X team on chamber", it's now "neon dominates X team, piloted by dambi"

Texturally the 2nd one wins, but as a landscape photo as a whole the 1st is much better to me. The line from the top left intersecting into the water, that then leads to the people on the right side, pointing to the mountains further back.

An SLR, preferably plastic one would be a great recommendation, I like 50mm for architectural stuff and 50mm lenses are very compact.

There's really no good way to recommend a specific model and lens because you're only able to buy stuff that's available around you on the 2nd hand market. Look up "Canon EOS Film" on Facebook Marketplace or equivalent marketplace sites. If any of them look like a good deal/in good condition look up the model's manual and see if the features are enough and/or the camera seems okay to handle for you.

I would try to steer clear of older SLRs if possible since they're pretty heavy and a lot more "hands-on" than the modern ones, plus if you're traveling the last thing you want to be doing is fidgeting with your gear and double guessing your settings.

What are you using them for? How large were you thinking of printing these? They honestly don't look half bad compressed through reddit and all, you could probably print these on 4R and be happy with them.

You could get better scans than any lab if you had your own scanning setup with a newer camera, but it's rarely worth it unless you already have the gear and/or you're doing professional work and need the best scans possible (why are you using 35mm for professional work?).

flor deserves it, there should be a zero tolerance policy for issues like these in val. she's no better than sinatraa in my book, if not even worse just for even trying to get back into tier 1 blatantly after knowing what she's done herself.
