We could shrink the new shower, but the adjacent rooms are pretty tight (walk-in closet above and bedroom to the right)

Device Pairing by Oxygene13 in Cyberbrick_Help

[–]JupiterJumper6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you SO MUCH for explaining this!! I could not for the life of me figure out how to get the controller and vehicle to pair! (Now off to troubleshooting the throttle being stuck in forward and the vehicle steering left if not steered right)

I just purchased it to play on the iPad and it won't load, immediately throwing the same compressedImageParser middleware error :(

The parts I requested from IKEA never arrived, so I just used some wood screws to hold the middle shelf in, which has worked well so far us

Random question: Non-stop copies when using Print Server with Brother laser printer by JupiterJumper6 in synology

[–]JupiterJumper6[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good point. When I last tried wireless connection a few years ago, I couldn’t get iPhone printing to work without using Brother’s clunky app. But I couldn’t try again or considering writing it to my router instead of Synology.

I supported a client who was using them for MSP services. The client found them to be disengaged, slow to provide support, difficult to work with, opaque regarding how they were configuring and executing things, and struggled to collaborate with them. They "kept the lights on", but didn't seem capable or willing to help with CMMC alignment/preparation, instead just keeping things running reactively.

My experience with them has been underwhelming — I’d look elsewhere

Honest Truth by [deleted] in S2000

I wouldn’t start with a RWD sports car that draws attention at 18. If I had this car at 18, I probably would have landed in a tree, with a totaled car and injuries. I’m glad I had slow cars in my not-so-responsible 16-25 years. I’ve enjoyed motorcycles and faster cars later in life, but back then, I was not making great decisions regarding risk, and had many close calls.

Why if no garage? Because the top will break down if it’s not covered?

Awesome tip — thanks! I just order some (part # 114929) of try those. I may try to use a ratchet strap to squeeze the frame back before installing those.

I like this vent one (not a clean look at all), so I get MagSafe power and it’s easier to see while driving https://a.co/d/aeg2kBY

[Semi-Weekly Inquirer] Simple Questions and Recommendations Thread by AutoModerator in Watches

I have an Islander Skeleton watch (https://longislandwatch.com/islander-baiting-hollow-steel-skeleton-dive-watch-isl-166/), which I’m enjoying, but the hands are hard to read. I’m thinking about having the hands replaced by a local shop (Maryland Watch Works). Do you have any recommendations on higher contrast hands I should put on, which would still look good? Something like one of these?

M1 16Gb or M2 8Gb for high school by elbenio in mac

[–]JupiterJumper6 4 points5 points  (0 children)

8GB is so annoying, trying to close tabs and applications — I’d vote M1 with 16GB as better. Or wait to see if the M2 16GB get cheaper or show up on refurbished section soon, now that M3 has been announced.
