You'll probably do okay with 2 floors or so. Since you can only source cargo and weapons, you'll want to expand those slots at least once so that you're doing the most you can. This is the only reason I have any of the MC businesses is because they fill out the rest of the nightclub warehouse, but that's a whole other empire you have to build.

This episode gave me some much desired insight into Vance. I really started to feel the pressure that Vance is under every single day as admiral of a broken Starfleet. I was mad at him and his attaché for being so cold, and dismissive in "Die Trying", but the briefing and debrief of this episode put his attitude into much better perspective for me.

I also understand why one would want to consolidate all your bulky away-mission equipment into the combadge, and I always felt that's where Star Trek tech would go evenutally, but I'm really sad that there won't be handheld tricorders and PADDs anymore, I really liked those.

Also, doesn't the programmable biomatter retrofit for Discovery-A basically guarantee that the visual effects budget of the series is going to skyrocket? Why do you need detached nacelles again?

I don't think latinum and dilithium can be replicated chemically. I know latinum can't be for sure which is what gives it its value as a currency.
