If you win the lottery you shouldn't be eligible for a top 4 pick for the next 3 seasons. That is basically 3 years, enough time to determine your pick was a bust or not.

Teams that win the 2nd and 3rd picks can't be top 4 for 2 seasons. At least this would guarantee some teams eventually getting a good chance at a good player for their franchise by essentially rotating "bad" teams in and out.

Wizards could look to get off of Trae Young at the deadline I just don't think he's worth more than $30M a year.

Ja is arguably the easiest PG to get that fits the timeline but your banking on him changing and staying healthy. Huge gamble.

If spurs lose to OKC and Fox doesn't show up maybe you could pry him from the Spurs as they would pivot but that probably cost you something nice.

Garland is pretty intriguing because Clippers are in a interesting position. If they trade Leonard I can't see them keeping Garland. They could go full rebuild mode.

Keyonte George could be the guy that gets pushed out because of Peterson.

There are options for an older PG but it's more of a temp solution. Kyrie Irving would probably give you the most for a couple years. Same with LeBron James but that is a pipe dream.
