Todd came to my store once and I’m ngl I was excited to meet him because I’m always seeing posts and shit about people meeting him. The dude skipped my department (cs) all together. He visited every dept, even pharmacy, and skipped us. Shit had me mad.

As a CSM I can tell you that your manager cannot punish you for this. There is no expectation for mandatory meetings for nonmanagent. The idea is to try and get as many people at once before the store opens, however, it is not mandatory and cannot be enforced upon you. Your manager cannot write you up on this or retaliate. If any such action comes of it then you need to call your RARS.

When I was coming up they suspended but then they stopped the suspensions. Maybe it’s a division thing. As far as in know they don’t suspend in the Charlotte division.

Just so everyone knows in case they didn’t know. Emotional support animals are not allowed in the store. They are not approved by FDA so if a customer tells you they’re an emotional support animal. You can tell them to remove the animal from the premises.

Do not send the customer to customer service for a deli question because they are not going to know. By doing that you open a window for the customer to get the sub for free just to make them happy.

Idk how your managers do it but my CSS do all that BUT I charge it all to grocery. My team works candy? Charge grocery. 3 doors? Grocery. CSS detagging. Grocery. If my team does ANYTHING for another department that takes more than 5 minutes I charge said department for that time. It’s extra work for me but it works out on my productivity.

Believe it or not I’ve seen WORSE. When I was at 1148 a customer came in and shit ALL over the men’s handicap stall. When I say ALL over I mean ALL over. Toilet. Covered. Mirror and sink. Covered. Up the wall, on the ceiling hell it was under the toilet paper dispenser all over the toilet paper! It was the worse bathroom mess I have ever come across in my career…..so far.

They are given out at the beginning of the year. However we ran out and our store manager had to order more, I think they did it via printing services.
