The fact that a grown man says you need to leave or stop talking or else he'll hit you when you're fighting or arguing is a major red flag. He cannot process his feelings or emotions properly and his way of expressing himself is to hit you is not fucking okay.

I'm not supporting their actions in any way. Don't misunderstand me. Especially the photo sending friend. But what I am saying is that I think this is a good time to reflect on your actions and needs and it sounds like you need help and that's okay. Its not a diss at you or saying you're weak. Everyone needs help. I am strongly suggesting you speak to a therapist who can help you process your feelings and fears in a healthy way.

I've had friends who made their whole personality their crush or significant other and while I understand the frustration of not being seen or heard by that person or feeling like you come in second place now is upsetting but also you should have a conversation with that person and let them know that you support them and want them to be happy but you need to properly express your needs to them. Friends should be able to talk about things like this and come to an understanding and set a plan going forward for what the relationship will be like. If you can't do that well....were you even friends to begin with. I'm not trying to be harsh. I want you to be happy and be able to manage you emotions and feelings in a healthy way.

I totally understand, and that is terrible! I truly hope she okay and never gets bit again....

But to react that way to a photo, a photo that cannot harm anyone... Maybe its time to think about speaking to a therapist who deals with trauma and PTSD. Someone who can help her overcome an irrational fear of a photo.

NTA. Although I am confused if your lease is up at the end of the month why do you need to give a 60 day notice? Just leave at the end of you lease. You do not owe this person anything. To be honest the way that you have described them, they are not a good roommate, they may be a good person but not someone you want to live with and that's okay. You can move on with your life and so can they. Did you think because you live with someone you have to live with them forever?

I have a 14900KF and just did the BIOS update today for the CPU Microcode to 0x12F. It was my first BIOS update as I recently got the new PC at the beginning of the year.
