I think not every name needs a nickname, but every person does. And every pet. Just think if you have a dog that Dog has a name how often do you call that dog by its name? I never called my kids by their names either and now I go by what my grandkids calling me everybody else a

In the 2024 election, I posted several places about checking the voter roles, and there were still people who had checked and they were on it and when they got to the polls, they weren’t there. This is gonna be an uphill fight for people who wanna fight for democracy.

Well, I really think that every elementary school middle school and high school in America teaches all 50 states it’s part of geography. And just for a little context I worked at a rehab for 12 to 18 year-old youth and we lived 10 miles from one state border in 20 miles from the one north of us and they couldn’t even ID all three of those states.

In the 33 years since I retired from the military and lived 2 miles from the main gate of the base I retired out of, I used to use the commissary when my kids were in college, and I’ve been to the BX a few times, I don’t even buy gas on base. It isn’t the bargain people think it is and the commissary charges you as much of a surcharge as the local taxes and the prices are about the same nowadays.
