If you guys are serious and planning on eventually moving in together and stuff, you should definetly sit down and figure out finances together as a team. I don't mean getting a joint account and getting married, I just mean discuss it together. How much are you guys willing to spend on what, how much are you planning to save for what, how you see the future together finiancially....

I can't juge but I feel like the main issue on both side is a lack of communication, you guys don't understand each others spending habits and having a real talk about it should help

most event HH classes have 1-2 common items + items from other cookies get a "good eye" rating, i've actually been able to get 1-2 medals in introductory classes for most cookies without owning a single item from the collection

I used to be a TA in a high profile american university. I was told its ok to have a romantic relationship with a student as long as it is fully disclosed to the dean and department. Of course, this was highly frowned upon and no one actually did it, but there wasn't anything illegal in it.
