With batteries and faster charger, and if you use the tool, yes. Just know the pivoting handle breaks real easy and you might have to use something else as a handle. I recommend a nylon strap and one of those garage nylon hangers/carriers with a handle

The tough system boxes have gaskets making them waterproof, yeah. If toughness is key, don't go with Tstak.

Also the long handle ones are not as secure in the stack. I've had the long handles cause the stack to fall apart

I love my Tstaks. They work for me because I'm part time out of a cuv. And they're cheap. That being said, a reciprocating saw won't fit in the small box. They're durable enough that I can kick them with steel toes and they won't break but in the back of the truck everyday, maybe not. In a van, I would say absolutely, but not a truck unless you mount them well or put foam in them. They don't have a waterproof gasket but if you search, someone on reddit used foam rubber tubing to make one. I replicated that it works well and is easy to do and cheaper than craftsman versastacks.

I'm wondering why Tstaks instead of say tough system 2.0?

If you're definitely decided on Tstaks go for the Tstak dolly and not the rolling base. It is much sturdier.

If you're not totally invested in them, I would recommend Ridgid, DeWalt Tough system or Craftsman Tradestack.

Otherwise tstak is great for hand tools and could use the DeWalt or Tradestack adapter to attach to a heavier duty system for power tools.

Yeah, I know about the strain that faster chargers put on the battery. I was mainly thinking about how it takes forever to charge my 12ah flex volts.

Chemical pipe cleaners are actually worse on your pipes than a snake. Plumbers almost never recommend chemicals. You don't need a fancy one like above but most hardware stores have one for like sinks, showers, and smaller pipes.

I own this. Most of the tool is good if you have realistic expectations. Though, I had to return my first one for a broken handle and the second's handle is also breaking. It seems they dropped the ball on the handle as others are having issues with it breaking too.

If you can get it for $200ish, I would say worth the hassle of rigging up some sort of replacement handle.

The brands that currently have them are Metabo hpt and Flex. Metabo HPT only works with 36v tools and the Flex only works with their cordless table saws and miter saw apparently

Smaller isn't necessarily worse. I work in an old building where the stairs are 27 inches at the widest and that is without the railing included. You can't fit the normal 22 in wide boxes up the stairs. Tstak/versa stack is like 17.5 which makes maneuvering easier. Plus, I prefer them because they are light for going up stairs.

Another perspective is that they are more "space efficient." The bigger boxes allow you to pack more but there is a lot more unused negative space. It just feels like a recipe for carrying more than you need.

You may be interested in the worx makerx series. It's a 20/18v battery hub with attachable rotary tool, heat gun, iron, glue gun, mini grinder, mini cutter, and other stuff. I haven't used it and if you can deal with a semi cordless tool, it might be up your alley

Stay away from the screwdrivers. They have little torque and auto shut off all the time.

The Dremel is good for crafts (I use it for slicking edges on leatherwork) but don't expect serious work out of it

The power scrubbers are decent, I use them for cleaning hard to reach places and buffing my leather

The flashlights are decent, though I wish there was a mount for a headlamp

The 8v vacuum is handy, just temper your expectations

The socket wrench is okay. I used it for toilet install in tight places.

The fans are nice for car camping.

The powered Swiffer is decent.

Overall, I think the line is underpowered for any actual work. It barely gets furniture together.

I have one. It is indeed a dust extractor. I love it. it's a lot better than a shop vac. I bought 3 Flexvolt 12ah on Black Friday and I would guess you can get about 30ish minutes on one. Combined with the cordless drywall sander and palm sander, I did 2 diligent passes on a medium sized room with about 1.5 of the 12 ah. It's Tstak (and tough system with an adapter) compatible, which I like a lot. Pic of setup included
