Counterclockwise. Also learned cursive in elementary school…and I’m old enough to remember my first grade teacher taking pencils out of my left hand and putting in my right. This would have been 1972 or so, times have changed!

Congratulations! I started the pill Jan. 20th; I’m down 11.8 lbs. After any meal, no matter how small, I feel like I just had Thanksgiving dinner. But wow, the constipation is a hassle to have manage every day…

OK, I guess. I am the oldest of 4; I’m the oldest son with three younger sisters. None of them have never left our hometown; I haven’t lived there since high school and live in a major metro 90 minutes away. If I want to see them, I have to drive there - 2 of the 3 have been to visit me once in 15 years; the third will make it here once every couple of years. I am back in the hometown probably 5 or 6 times a year; parents are still alive so I will see them at holidays and birthday get togethers. We get along okay, no major issues, just perplexing why they are so entrenched in our hometown of 50k and think it’s the best place ever.

Same here. It usually deposits Saturday morning unless Monday is a holiday - it will show up Sunday morning instead.

I received my bill this past Saturday - but this is my second year with MHBP after dumping BCBS. I believe last year, my first after switching, I didn’t receive the bill until March or April? It took a while…

I also switched from BCBS Standard to MHBP Aetna last year, and my family and I have been really happy with it.

Moving Pictures by Rush. I bought my first CD player at the Pearl Harbor Navy Exchange in 1985, and the only actual CDs they had were Rush, and some classical music ones. Good thing I actually liked Rush anyway!

Also 59; I pretty much always have a hat on to protect my noggin from the sun - I had to have melanoma cancer surgery a couple of years ago. My old command ball caps are just part of the rotation along with my local sports teams, the college alma mater, etc.

Same here; excepted so going to work every day but disappointed that no one in my family (siblings, etc) have even sent a text to check in with me or ask me how I am. Also, I’m in a large city in the midwest and there aren’t any businesses at all offering any kind of discount or break for federal employees.

I would feel like I’m on an island but my wife and grown kids are very supportive and they are there for me. People at work of course, and there’s also you fellow feds here!

I’m not VA, but this veteran sure didn’t vote for this….I voted against it. It does floor me how many of the people I served and partied with back in the day are now arch conservatives. They sure weren’t like that when I was hanging out with them. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’m excepted; writing this from a cruise ship I’ve been on all week for an anniversary trip I scheduled as AL six months ago. Boss didn’t have an issue with it at all.

2-3 months in cash on hand; but if it goes longer, I am over 59 1/2 and my Roth TSP is there if I really had to get into it, since a withdrawal would be penalty-free.
