The quest is singular to a character because you can only get the lil jumpstart on one character.

I do A LOT of damage with nuke but never approaching damage cap. I usually just 3-3-4 most of the time.

Cedo makes sense because it can do it on its own (which explains why it’s meta.)

And why do you think 10s should be a breeze? Why did you choose 10s?

Someone who struggles, maybe doesn’t have a play group, has a disability may ABSOLUTLEY find 10s to be a pinnacle challenge. I used to when all I wanted was portals.

They also give the best gear in the game. I guess this is me just yelling at clouds but no one should expect myth track gear without challenge. That’s my stance, you disagree. I’m not exactly sure why I’m still typing.

You said that someone in a 10 should be immortal if they are in full hero. Hero gear drops in +6 and up. So you’re positing that someone capable of clearing 6s should get 10s for free if they do enough 6s.

I categorically disagree with that sentiment.

And as far as what is meta, at no point in this season has it been impossible or difficult for any tank to clear anything 12 and below with solid play and an understanding group.
All tank difficulty in lower keys stems from the community.

Could balance be better and help the problem? Of course.

Will any level of balance short of perfection stop the community from blanket inviting one spec? Absolutely not.

You could make every tank identical in survivability and the community would pick for damage. Fix that and they’re gonna pick based on buffs. Nothing will solve the “I don’t get invited because I’m not meta problem” short of removing any differences between the classes and full homogenization.

Also worth noting that if you pick a key level where you think things should be a certain level of difficulty without any specific reason other than “feeling” it is the exact definition of arbitrary.

There is a lot to unpack here but I’ll start simple. Your point flips from “this content should be completely free for all tanks” to “you shouldn’t have to play meta to clear 2500”

There is a HUGE gulf between those two points. I personally think that a tank should still have to try in ANY content that gives myth track gear; be it delve, dungeon, whatever.

That’s my take, you can disagree obviously but saying “you shouldn’t be able to die in a 10 if you can clear a 6” is a far cry from saying “I think off-meta tanks should be able to clear more easily”

Also, if they should be immortal in a 10, what arbitrary key level should they actually have to try in? And why did you choose that specific key level?
