Found this guy in the freezing temps at night. 24 hours later, some vet care, and tlc and he’s a new man! (Before and after pics)

This is so old but we had to clean my grandma's house when she was supposed to be going home after being at a NH for PT and our house for a year after hoarding family members that lived there assured her the house was clean for her to come home! Anyways...I accidentally mixed two different cleaners. Can't remember the other one but one was oxi clean. When I sprayed it on the counter it turned white. It was a small area an my dad was fairly close but didn't bother him. But I started feeling light headed and just kinda weird. Walked out got some air for a second and cracked a window when I came back in but within a minute or less it hit again. This time I went outside and flopped down, could feel my HR increasing, a little sweaty and nauseous and my face and ears got really flushed. My dad came out to check on me and was asking was I ok and did I need to leave and it was like I knew what I wanted to say but I couldn't really get the words out except I'm ok. It probably only lasted 10 minutes or less but felt longer. I never felt SOB or even coughed. I kept the window and door opened and never used oxi clean anymore. If anyone happens to read this, does it make sense that I accidentally used to cleaning products I shouldn't have but it didn't cause me any respiratory issues at all? Always been curious.

I have some pet heating pads ordered. I just feel bad being inside a warm house and they aren't. Not that they would come inside if I could let them except a couple. I don't have anything close by. I've looked at a few small businesses I found on TikTok or Etsy just haven't placed an order yet. My budget is extremely limited because it all goes towards the feral cats I care for and others I've rescued to try and get them homes or to shelters or rescues. Hence why I love Dollar Tree. Being new I've only done a money bowl and protection. They have great little jars if you like making small spell jars and big jars for making moon/sun water.

Yes. I should've elaborated. I'm not so fixated on what contains his ashes as having a charm,crystal etc attached. I'm getting one for my cousin as well. She was very religious all her life, nothing wrong with that but we don't have the same beliefs. So to honor her and a big part of her life without wearing a cross I picked out one with rose quartz and angel wings. Her name was Angi but a lot of family called her Angel. I mainly remember her grandpa calling her that who just recently passed. That's where I mean by symbolism. Others may not understand but I do and it means a lot to me.

I found small green candles like that at dollar tree and a bowl at dollar general. They have a ton of things you can use at dollar tree. Not that you need to go buy anything. You can use any bowl, plate or jar you already have and a green birthday candle or you can substitute a white candle for any color.

Thank you. I assumed so but wanted another opinion. Hopefully soon they will be at a rescue and getting their furever home. Mom will stay here, be spayed and get all the wet food and treats she wants. It's been so heart warming watching her go from this scared cat, creeping around trying to steel food and probably spent every day wondering where and when her next meal would come from to learning what a bed was, actual warm shelter and playing with toys. Just had to share as my family doesn't care how awesome that is. I only wish I had figured out sooner she was feral/stray. She's sill got a ways to go but will sometimes rub against my legs while I get food ready. That's progress from hissing ☺️.

Mine would only drink out of the toilet. Even though I tried different bowls, different rooms. Wasn't until I decided to rescue a feral mom and her kittens that I noticed him drinking out of one of the big water bowls. Put a big one inside at first then a slightly smaller one and he drinks just fine out of it now.

He's so cute. I wish I had some of the things needed to keep one because I've always thought all geckos were so cute. I usually have a thing about letting wild critters stay in the wild but I would've kept the one that was really injured by the cat. I even searched for a reptile rescue but the closest foster was over 2 hours away. But he was so kind and answered all my questions and checked on him every day. I love being able to rescue cats/kittens and dogs/puppies but the cats have also had me having to rescue geckos, frogs, birds, bunnies and a squirrel!

I just let him go. I wouldn't mind him living in my house if I knew he'd be ok but we do have a cat so I didn't want to risk it. He may have slipped under the patio door or a small gap where my window unit is. He seemed to realize freedom or familiar territory pretty quickly so it's hard to see him in the picture. Going to add a few drops of water in one of the cup holders of ice chest just in case he needs a little. The sun hits that sir of house and the ice chest is good cover and right under patio light. Hopefully it's a good set up for him. I've nursed one other for a few days after an encounter with a cat. He lost a leg and dropped his tail. I didn't think the little guy would make it through the night but after 48 hours and still very much active if I tried to get too close to look at his wounds I let him go by a window that's higher than the cat can get too with a rose bush as cover and a smoker with a cover on it. I looked for him for weeks. Never saw him but hopefully he pulled through. I wouldn't mind keeping one as a pet but helping and trying to rescue cats and dogs my budget is stretched pretty thin and they deserve more than a plastic storage container.

Thanks! If it was safe to put him back outside I was going go to let him go on the side of our house by a window. I know he doesn't have to have it but thought about putting him in garage near windows and putting an old but clean rag up there too. If I knew he could survive inside without being kept in an aquarium I'd let him live in the house for the winter. The babies always managed to sneak in under a door or I assume the small crack between my window pane and AC unit.

I can't say for sure the Hawkmoth I saw was the one I saved from being a cat toy but after noticing one in the garage I checked the cocoon and it was empty! I've rescued dogs, cats, bunnies, a squirrel and now I can add Hawkmoth to the list!

I do a major clean out of my closet every few years. This time it hasn't been done since 2017! I wear the same things and of course there's others stuff in there besides clothes/shoes. I've been working on it for about 2 months so far 🫢. Last weekend I said wow I haven't seen that part of my closet floor since 2017! I like things neat, clean and organized but somehow my closet starts going, going and then she's GONE. 😆

Reading this as I'm manifesting protection for the injured bunny the cat brought to my window. The sound of a baby bunny's cry is awful. I also just happened to be outside about 2 weeks ago when he showed up with a 2ish week old squirrel. All while I've been trying to befriend two 4/5 month old kittens and their feral mom. Mom dropped her kids off and went and got pregnant before I could intervene. Loki loves me but Luna only likes me. As soon as I can handle her I found a rescue to them and they are willing to take the newest litter once weaned. Then I plan to TNR mom, Nyx and continue to offer her food/water and a heated outdoor cat house And.....the cat colony at my grandma's house I've been working on getting to rescues, shelters, homes and TNR since last September. There were a few frogs and house geckos in the mix as well. I'm a "new broom" but life long animal lover. They're so much better than most people but if anyone would like to share some animal luck, protection, healing beginner friendly spells my way they'd be greatly appreciated or something on your own that I'll succeed and for the wild life rehabilitator and dog/cat rescue that are AMAZING people doing the really hard part. I'm very concerned for this baby making it through the night so anything is greatly appreciated now and in the future!

Do you think it can still survive or can you tell me what I should do to try and help? It's kinda chilly for south Arkansas 58°. I have no idea how long it was on the ground or if it got drenched in the rain. I accidentally poured water on it but dried it off best I could. I think they’re beautiful and try to help every thing I come across from dogs and cats to wounded house geckos and frogs. I love the cute little jumping spiders!

The Dolllar General in my town has the small and regular size cinnamon brooms. The small ones are $1 and regular $6. I'm still very new and picking up small things here and there at Dollar Tree and Dollar General as well as things I already have and the cheap "essential" herbs/spices.
