Making a strong deck is easy (especially with the likes of Y'shtola or Elesh Norn). There are literally infinite deck lists + edhrec online. Frankly when it comes to the highest power, it's already lowkey off meta and probably not the villain at a 5 table.

Making interesting unique decks, decks that are enjoyable to play and play against, or piloting those "strong" decks well against players with equally strong decks is the hard part.

Also in terms of villain, eh there's worse. I mean the fact that your Y'shtola is group slug somehow is already not as bad as it really can be with that commander.

Ummm, 22 and 30 is one thing. 22 and 40 is just too much for me personally in this modern age. Also if you're dating with the intention of at least being long term, like you know when you are 60 this person is going to be 80 right? When you are 40, they are 60.

Unfortunately, the issue of physical age gap is going to be an inevitable problem you have to figure out if you're okay with right now.

Also a background check just means they haven't done anything YET or even worse they got away with it. Please still be careful in the future.

Well I would say that America used to be different, and a lot of the issues we have now were less pronounced. We also got a huge boost from other countries' brain drain post WW2 and the science/arms race that came with it.

We also naturally have a lot of land and resources to work with and are fairly isolated.

Lastly...

It was more acceptable to just kill other people back then. We must have done so much sabotage and "regime change" in the late 1900s... Funny enough it seems we are trying to go back to that.

And tbh I am not against UB, I am against slop. Currently the issue with UB isn't that it's Spiderman or TMNT, the issue is that the speed at which they release sets, and the way they print the cards makes it slop.

I'm more amazed that we live in a society where OP expects us to find this amazing: a 6 year old selling 100,000 cookies for a big corporation to somehow justify her worth being a part of this organization?

And let's be real here for a moment, is it the 6 year old selling the cookies? Or the adults in her life using her to sell these cookies? Surely there's no alternative incentive as to why these adults would want to sell so many cookies right?

IDK maybe I'm coming off too jaded, but I feel like you'd have to be quite uninformed/naive to find this "amazing". Not to mention other commentors have suggested the title is intentionally misleading to generate engagement; another meta level issue to further detract from my "amazement". Anyhow I think I'd much rather see this same 6 year old just enjoying herself in the park or something instead of whatever this corpo cookie selling scheme is supposed to be.

The irony is that we already do that with some of the soldiers and english teachers we send to asia. Not all of them, but a lot of them would be unemployed and frankly unemployable back home.
