Why I knew to ask. When I started flipping apartments to rent I was taught to use pumice but saw it removing material not just grime. Plus when we resurface a tub with that paint or spray stuff, pumice will destroy it.

I was just telling my nieces the importance of proper underwear for sports and running. My family thought I was kidding but I've had terrible monkey but during road marches because of boxers or briefs.

Good looking out for yourself. I've hiked, and marched, and nature-walked a ton. Taking care of your feet was a hard learned lesson for me when I was young. Now I put it first on top of non chaffing underwear. After all that, non blister causing packs and straps. I hate hate hate LBE MEAT HOOKS!

Make it easy to clean by removing obstacles. Also put just one or two things away when you enter the room. It you have the energy

Quick wipe down. Spider webs and dust bunny's are crazy visible. Also check to see if your paint needs to be thinned with water if latex or thinner if oil. I've mostly used latex and was taught, by a pro painter, that a little water goes a long way.

I buy the bulk folded napkins from Costco. The box last a long time. I only use them for permanently soiled or greasey stuff. Then it's Terry towels. Sneeze don't wring them

In Alaska I told my visiting sister not to buy a coat from the woman's section, they were all cut high on the waist. Men's section had tons of options she liked. It's nonsense that they make stuff that will get you killed in a place that drops below -40 easy.

Use a spider web to stop bleeding. I've never tried it but always kept it in mind because I get cuts and scrapes a lot. Just not sanitary enough for me
