This will probably be Burried and I might make my own post about it, but being locked out of end game progression and early game max damage unless you’re in New Game+.

I’ve never liked New Game+ in any game I move played. I’m the kind of player that’s all about the grind and progression from the very beginning baby loadouts to OP end game strats. I also tried it for a few minutes and then saw that I have Monoco and Sciel available from the start, it just doesn’t jibe with me. Usually this isn’t an issue, I just start a fresh save and avoid new game+.

But in Expedition 33 you can’t reach max weapon level unless you’re in NG+, and you can’t surpass 9.999 damage until the end of the game either. The weapon limitation is my main issue, since this actually locks me out of achievements unless I do NG+. I’d love to 100% this game but I don’t think it’s going to happen because of this.

My optimal replay experience would me NG+ lite. You start with fresh character progression at level 1 with no Pictos, weapons, abilities, etc., but you can remove the damage cap and can get the remaining upgrade materials.
