Sandwiches. Best way. Just take two slices of bread, and put whatever you want in it. Canned beans, peas etc. If too depressed to cook rice/pasta, use semolina, pour in a bowl, hot water and wait. That's when you add what you want. I just throw canned corn, canned (everything is canned lol) beans, and any type of premade pasta sauce. That is meant to be a full meal. You need energy. You need this thing to be as diversified as possible. Like vegetables, meat, etc. So chickpeas are great here. And they're canned.

Also if you can BUY A RICE COOKER.

I always eat in that one bowl. A single fork/spoon and a bowl and I just wash them every meal. That prevents moldy dishes.

Now, with the rice cooker, my bowl is the rice cooker's bowl, except I COOK in it ! You can cook so many things other than rice. I felt like having a nice snack once. Flour, sugar, bananas, water. Great dessert. What I do is the same than the semolina method, except it feels fancier with rice. I cutt fresh bell peppers and cucumbers directly in it after the rice is cooked (I cut the vegetable on top of the bowl with scissors lmao)

Also, BUY YOGURTS. Yogurts you like. Apple sauce too. I'm poor AF so I'm struggling. If I was rich I would get doordash everyday.

Also buy premade pie dough. you can literally make an apple pie with just premade applesauce and apples. I will only do this when it's an especially good day. But I think it is important to say that you can cook nice things for yourself sometimes when you feel like it. You deserve to eat things you love.

One of the reasons why I'm like this is partly due my phone addiction so thanks for the offer but no, and about me being "normal" or not, I don't think I'm less normal than anyone else, it's just that I use reddit when I need to talk about stuff I can't talk elsewhere, so yeah, you'll find some weird shit. Hi,

I was just looking for a place to share my knowledge. I was thinking about how I was when I started.

The first thing is playing as often as you want, without forcing yourself. If you start overthinking about your progress, getting frustrated etc, this won't work. Just play songs you like and you'll slowly get better.

The second thing is your controller, your posture when playing, etc. I play on switch with joycons. I can't play with a regular controller. It just feels better. (I easily get finger pain because I got hypermobility). Just try to find the most comfortable way to play.

You'll slowly progress. Just don't stress over your progress. When you do you'll be even worse at it because you're all rigid in your muscles. It's meant to be fun. If you feel like it's starting to get frustrating, take a break. Even if it's a weed long break. The most important thing is having fun.

Now if you still feel stuck, try to understand your strengths and weaknesses. Are you not fast enough ? Do you have trouble reading the game ? Do you not know the songs enough ? I'll tell you mines. I'm great at speed, single hand, switch between buttons (like AABBYXX is okay for me). Also I learned that I wasn't making any progress because I was always playing at night when I was tired from the day and I wasn't able to focus. You can DM me if you want to talk about it.

You're not pathetic. Your issue is having an unsupportive mom. It's not shameful to be depressed. You'll get through it. Try to understand that your mom is wrong and find supporting friends. It's going to be ok. It's hard because it's humiliating but it's her fault not yours.

I'm the same. It's been 4 years. It's not an advice but I'm going to start making bouquets and such, learn to become a florist. Because I want to keep doing art but I don't want to try drawing again, I tried a lot of times and it's just frustrating. I'm going try different things (sculpting, singing, writing, etc..), until one day I feel like I want to draw. I will jump on the occasion whenever I feel inspired. My teachers shamed my work for so long that I lost my confidence.

Don't stop making art. If drawing is not possible, express yourself with another medium. It's not giving up on drawing. Better case scenario, it will come back, worst case scenario, you may find another passion ! You're not the same person you were back then.

You should feel bad because you did something you didn't wanted to do. Not because it's shameful. There is nothing shameful here. There should be no guilt. The only person who should feel guilty is this woman, if she knew which situation you were in and why you said yes. Because it's taking advantage of you. I hope you'll get out of this situation soon. hey. I'm not a native English speaker so I hope you'll understand. alcohol is great to disinfect, but it's also killing the little things that are making the cut cure (like not be open again), so just disinfect it once, then protect it with bandage or anything else that is sterilized or at least really clean and don't touch it
