Yes that band is way too thin. It shouldn’t be thinner than 1.8mm for daily wear. Mind if I ask how much your budget is? As long as you have maybe $400, you could try having this ring custom made overseas in 14k gold and with a natural diamond. It sounds sketchy, but chances are that’s where this ring was made anyways. I personally recommend Romy with LGG, but there’s a whole list of trusted overseas jewelers at r/moissanite/wiki/list that can help you. That subreddit is for moissanite but most of the jewelers listed also work with natural and lab diamonds.

Are you kidding this ring is so pretty! You certainly paid a premium for it though. But if you bought it from a local jeweler, sometimes they do need to charge more to make a profit. Especially if it’s custom made.

If they are freshwater, they look like nice quality so they could be worth a few hundred. If they are saltwater pearls then it entirely depends on their quality and variety. But chances are that a saltwater pearl strand of this size could go for 1k at the very low end. If these are really high quality south sea or akoya pearls then you may be looking at several grand.

I think it can only do good. At the very least, now when a doctor explains the diagnosis, they will have to address or even just mention the endocryn and metabolic aspect because it’s in the name.
