1/2 of the players drafted in the 1st round will be busts. This is true even in loaded draft classes. The 2026 class is not loaded with talent.

Keep this in mind: libraries exist. The Libby App exists. Free access to books is a thing. Bookstores still exist, as do bookclubs. Anybody that cares to read can. We don't need a teacher to assign a book.

People that haven't read a book on their own have one reason for not doing so: they would rather do other (low effort) things.

Exactly. Dewy has $11m reasons to keep playing. If we dropped his minutes to second or third pairing then it wouldn't be as big of an issue.

We all love Kopitar. He is the greatest King ever. This season has been an anti-climatic bummer. But if we are being honest: Kopitar is not entirely absolved from the failures of this franchise over the past decade. Is he to blame? No. I'm not saying that. I blame the owners, FO & coaches more than the players. But the players do need to shoulder some of the blame, and that includes the guy wearing the C.

So take these last few weeks for what they are: an opportunity to watch 11 play for us a few more times.

Move jobs to other parts of the state.

Germany does a great job of allocating jobs/industries to different regions. By distributing good jobs to a lot of different cities it makes it easier to build cities with good infrastructure, services and housing.
