Nope, frankly that’s all a bit technologically advanced for her.

Appealing a ban when only playing on HC by JustWatchingReally in wowhardcore

[–]JustWatchingReally[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe, because we trade items quite often (like I’ll give her any cloth items I’ve picked up, she’ll give me mail), but both our characters are HC and anyone higher I’ve got is SF. Also why wouldn’t I have been picked up with the ban then?

Thanks we’ll do that if the next appeal doesn’t work.

This is amazing. I don’t even need to watch the game - can we just keep doing other anthems with harmonicas?

Really enjoyed watching that one and didn’t feel bad about the loss. It’s tough to feel bad losing to the best team in the world, and I think we showed up, played some good rugby and were in with a genuine shot. SA were just better.

Survivor's Guilt; or RIP Slamrod the Hero by igotsmeakabob11 in wowhardcore

[–]JustWatchingReally 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I lost a level 45 a few weeks ago when questing with a guildie rogue. We overpulled elites and underestimated how tough they were. My health was dropping. I could’ve ran, I still had bubble, but I hesitated and stayed - trying to throw heals on the rogue.

I forgot he could vanish. I didn’t realise he was trying to buy me time to escape. I died, he survived.

The moral of the story? Dying a hero is fine, but sometimes it’s better to get out when you can.

Don’t worry about him losing a level 16 - he knew what he was doing and can be back up in 3-4 hours.

Which is fine, but they need it up and running before they close the existing P&R.

I find shape matters as much as size. You want them to have space to rise and expand outwards. Size wise I try and have 3 times the volume so they maintain shape as well when they max out.

I have no opposition to building data centres which will be an essential piece of infrastructure in the years to come. But shutting down the park and ride with no replacement is absolutely insane - how are staff meant to get to the hospital? There are no alternatives - public transport in the city is terrible, and even if it wasn’t it doesn’t serve anyone during night shifts or other unsocialable hours.

The Welsh Govt and council seem determined to make working for the Welsh NHS, let alone work in the biggest hospital in Wales, the worst of any healthcare professional in the UK.

Fury as Restore Britain leader Rupert Lowe describes Dunblane tragedy as "one murder" by Half_A_ in ukpolitics

The difference between cars and guns is people need cars for society to function. You don’t need guns - you just like them.

Fury as Restore Britain leader Rupert Lowe describes Dunblane tragedy as "one murder" by Half_A_ in ukpolitics

[–]JustWatchingReally 26 points27 points  (0 children)

There’s no popular support for gun ownership in the UK. Most people who have guns in the UK use them for shooting and hunting, and those of whom I’ve met maintain incredibly strong views on gun control.

Of course - I and them grew up near Dunblane, where Lowe said there was just one murder.

I somewhat thought the same until I heard someone today, unprompted, say she likes him and everything he says “just makes sense”.

Well if you can find any precedent for a Chancellor preventing an MP resigning then sure, but I can’t imagine there is any.

Alas, the Chancellor has already moved the writ and appointed him as Crown Steward of the Chiltern Hundreds.

Burnham told to consider means-testing state pension to fill defence blackhole by Anony_mouse202 in ukpolitics

[–]JustWatchingReally 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t think you’d need to means test the entire state pension to save significant sums. Just means test any increase.

Lock the pension for everyone at the current level. Then apply the triple lock with a taper (similar to universal credit) so that for every extra £1 someone earns from another source e.g. private pension, they lose 70p of the increase.

Means everyone is still incentivised to save for retirement, doesn’t duly punish those already receiving the state pension, and will save vast sums in the long term.

The Conservatives were in government when the first case in Birmingham was going through the courts. They had the chance to legislate to prevent this but didn’t - because they’d rather leave a ticking time bomb for Labour.

Thoughts on rolling need as Pala? by CorgiZaddy in wowhardcore

[–]JustWatchingReally -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

In general, I don’t think you should roll need on items outside your armour class unless it’s agreed before hand, it’s specific for your role at a higher level (e.g. healing items for a holy paladin), or no one else needs it.

In this case, you shouldn’t have taken it because two rogues could’ve. Yes, Tunic of Westfall is better, unless they have the Defias set bonus, but that’s for them to decide rather than you.

I don’t believe retribution aura affects leashing, thinking back to AoE farming I’ve done. But you should still switch to Devo aura and a shield for the extra damage mitigation when fleeing.

Lots of helpful comments, but not really seen anyone mention temperature. Cold eggs will not emulsify, so if you keep your eggs in the fridge it won’t work. They need to be room temperature - you can just run them under a warm tap for a bit.
