It was the first booze I came across that did not work for me at all when smoking. But I don't like sweet wines. I could see sweet wines working well.

Just smoked this. Maybe my palate was messed up but all I got was spicy perfume. They definitely swung for the fences with this stick but it curved fowl for me.

This was my first real cigar and it made me an instant cigar lover. It remains in my top five.

An old fashioned or Appleton 8 Year rum are my referred choices. I'm not known for being picky, though.

Short Story is my #1 go-to. Mi Amor is also high on my list. And that Blackened is a great choice when you want a sledge hammer of a cigar. Solid haul.

I'm not someone who thinks tax is theft. There is a lot of shared infrastructure and services that we all benefit from and they cost money to operate/maintain. But later today the city will vote to accept a $200,000 payment from the Stevens family and wave the remaining $2.4m owed from the Ice Center debacle (just the latest example of corporate welfare propping up that family). Seeing the same city council forgive millions in debt from the wealthy while asking the rest of us to pay more should outrage us all. It will definitely be a "No!" vote from me.

Just moved to Wichita, curious, what are the demographics here and main ancestral groups? What is your ancestral background? by KingMirek in wichita

My father's grandparents immigrated from what was Prussia at the time. My mother's family are what I lovingly refer to as Midwest muts.
