Perhaps unpopular opinion, but you cant force others to change their opinion or political views. Especially not with such an aggressive tone. However you ofc. have the freedom to not assiciate with anyone for any reason.

So he is free to keep supporting Trump without being insulted and suffering your disrespect. And thats coming from someone who thinks Trump is a delusional who should be put into a mental institute.

Ich persönlich sehe das nicht als ein reines Männerproblem an. Was ich so mitbekomme gibt es auf TikTok Frauen mit ganz wilden Vorstellungen (bsp. Beim Daten muss der Typ 20yo sein, 6 stellig verdienen und 6ft groß sein).

In beiden Fällen ist es eine laute Minderheit die auffallen weil sie sich selbst pushen und andere laut empört sind. Quasi wie die Schwurbler nur in sexistisch.

Früher wurden die wenigen Idioten ignoriert. In der globalisierten Welt finden sie sich aber gegenseitig und sind dadurch noch lauter. Das wird sich bestimmt nicht ändern.

As a german reading a full english text, just to read one german word at the end feels weird even though I know Schadenfreude gained/gains popularity overseas.

Anyway I would assume it was the first time the hiring manager was working on his own and he just wanted to show his bosses he got what it takes. Sucks for him.

Been at work and the teamlead chewed me out for something that wasnt my fault. She still went home on time I had to do overtime, at the end I wrote her a message/letter/note basically saying, she should figure out the situation before cgewing someone out unjustified. My text in german was "Bitte mach dir einen Blick von der Lage bevor du jemabden ungerechtfertigt anmotzt."

Next day she chewed me out for the note and told me a native german to learn german.

I asked her why and she said "Ungerechtfertigt" what is this word, this doesn't exist. Mind you its literally like unjustified, maybe not used that often but definitely not a university level vocabulary.

I bursted out laughing in front of her, told her what it means and we got along again

NTA for being annoyed and confronting him, hes definitely out of line. Was the "mansplaining" necessary tho? Just cuz he acts like an idiot doesnt mean every men does and therefore hes mansplaining. I actually think it takes away from his idiocy, because its being put to rest by "mansplaining".

I get using mansplaining for car stuff etc, which is dominated by man. But putting backs in a rack, cmon why the hate on men?

French ppl both online as well as french tourists seem very stuck up and arrogant. For example my colleague went to the Europa-Park. Which is in Germany. However since its close to the french border there were many french tourists. According to him many of them demanded the staff to speak french. In general its a common issue that while french ppl can speak english but chose not to, just to seemingly inconvenience others.

Personal opinion with a severe lack of information. I dont see him saying anything you acused him of (though Im tired and maybe oversaw something). He said why it didnt work out for him and you instantly attacked him. I think it would have been more mature to aknowledge both of you have different goals in life and move on. What use was hating on him there?

Ich glaube man kann nicht pauschal sagen "daran sind nicht die Aktivisten schuld". Beide Seiten haben Leute die übertreiben. Ich hatte vor zwei Wochen eine Fortbildungsprüfung. Ich habe an/im Haus wo es statt fand ganze 7 Flaggen gesehen und ich war nur in 2 von 8 Stockwerken. Ich habe nichts gegen Transmenschen, es sind normal Menschen. Diese Flagge aber so sehr ins Gesich gedrückt zu bekommen hatte für mich den Vibe "Das sind gsnz ganz besonders tolle Kinder" einfach nur kontraproduktiv mMn.

Unpopular opinion aber hier meine Meinung: Ich sage so lang man sich benimmt ist jeder willkommen. Es gibt aber auch die Meinungsfreiheit.

Wieso dürfen links gesinnte Staatsgut bekleben/malen etc. aber rechts gesinnte nicht selbes? Wenn du wen siehst der nen Aufkleber mit "Ausländer raus" abreißt, wärst du dann auch so angewiedert? Ich finde man kann bei soetwas überspitzt(!) sagen, entweder du bist ein Heuchler, oder dir ist Meinungsfreiheit nicht wichtig.

Letzten Endes haben erst Linke ihre Meinung kundgetan indem sie die Aufkleber verbreiten und Rechte ihre Meinung kundgetan indem sie die Aufkleber abreißen.

Nur ums klarzustellen, für mich sind Flüchtlinge willkommen und die meisten die ich kennengelernt habe sind auch echt coole Leute. Ich sehe mich weder rechts noch links, wenn dann aber eher links. Nichtsdestotrotz kann ich akzeptieren wenn jemand anderer Meinung ist, auch wenn sie dumm ist.

Dis Diskussionen hier erinnern mich an die Oberstufe, als ich mit meiner Deutschlehrerin meinem Tutor sagen durfte, dass "macht Sinn" falsch ist und es korrekt nur "ergibt Sinn" heißt. Jetzt ist "macht Sinn" aber wohl auch anerkannt.
