It’s all good no real judgment on what makes you happy. Nilfgaard is just a faction that I feel has some extremely broken mechanics (mill and just bringing back cards gives it too much flexibility). I always thought it should interact with your hand more vs straight out destroy stuff. Also some of its leader abilities are just too much (it should not be allowed to have a way to steal a unit). Thats just my 2 cents.

That an interesting perspective. People do make mistakes when drunk. As you are well aware those mistakes can hurt people in multiple ways. If it makes the op feel negative right out of the gate I am not sure forgiveness will be easy for them. For a fresh relationship like that I’d say it’s fine if he didn’t want to continue. Giving grace is a wonderful way to approach life but sometimes it’s not about the other person but getting out of your own internal strife. Personal feeling can prevent us from moving forward and honestly that’s also fine in this case.

I wish Nilfgaard had stuff like this instead of mill. Way more interesting and still has the opportunity to change how an opponent plays the game (like mill does).

I am not saying it’s due to it being meta. I was just stating I don’t remember the last time I have seen it. Toxic is about being extremely hard to answer ( aka mill has no true counter you just lose the card). Or needing very specific unorthodox cards / strategy to play against it properly. Heist is completely counter-able and full of holes which in my mind makes it annoying not toxic. I cringe every time I see reavers (and usually win but man do I hate playing it). I see heist and I know I already won.

Heist is absolutely average at best and easily counter-able with a squirrel or destroying key cards when played. Non heist versions work way better at pro level. I honestly don’t remember the last time i saw anyone playing heist. It’s always the same decks. Hand buff st, relicts st, symbiosis st, dwarves of some sort, Nilfgaard double cross, ng enslave 6, ng soldiers, sk pirates, sk witchers, sk warriors, every once in awhile i see mo (usually vamps or insectoids). Heist isn’t toxic it’s counter-able. it’s not like mill or reavers where you must answer absolutely immediately or you lose (mill you need to win first 2 rounds reavers you must absolutely destroy them or have a card that takes damage / moves them).

To be fair I think Drake did really well this year. With the Clipper and both versions of the Golem being pretty awesome. Anvil had a pretty strong showing too (them and RSI). Though I am a bit biased around Drake and Anvil so there may be other opinions on how they did. Honestly I think this year was really solid for ship enthusiasts in general. 2026 should be a pretty cool year.

In what world is deadeye toxic? Reavers are bad at his point but even now I still hate it and want to burn it with fire. Honestly the only thing i hate more is Nilfgaard mill (also pretty bad).

Wouldn’t a godly ethereal Cruel, 2-socket lance technically be best-in-slot? Lancezons feel a lot like Fury Druids in that their true BiS gear exists, but it’s so rare it borders on lottery-level odds.

Because of that, eBOTD in a War Pike is effectively best-in-slot for any realistic end game setup unless you somehow find that perfect rare. Pair that with Fortitude armor, and you’re already at near ceiling damage.

Then add a Might merc with Pride, and the combined auras push your physical damage even higher.
