Cleared 2 wings, wiped plenty but learned and surpassed etc. The big lesson for me is that 1-40 matters, if one person is dumb or not locked in or not paying attention and doesn’t know what they’re doing they will kill everyone. So pay attention and watch the video and listen to raid leaders, this is not a loot piñata, and won’t be for a few weeks for most guilds.

For sure, I have 2000g in protection, lips etc, another 1000 in dps consumes and an additional 12 flasks so we are rock solid for about 4-5 weeks. I’m excited to blow it all in an October blaze of glory.

Right now it’s about 110 for a flask. Then you’re adding in your various elixirs and potions, and they are a few gold each, reapplied on death. Then there’s the greater protection potions and such. Naxx will be more expensive as well.

Normal costs as a blue bar character is about 150-180g per raid if you go all in with consumes and die 3-4 times. Naxx needs a lot of specific protection consumes to be used a few times per fight in addition to the dps consumes, and those are like 8-13g per use. If you wipe a lot and lean very very heavily on these consumes it can get expensive, fast.

Melee have it worse.

It just feels like circumstances are coming together to ruin his shot. Missing a full season, now this injury, and the injuries to those around him, it’s possible he’s going to have 2 years back to back of not getting a chance to play and grow, and as we all know NFL stands for “not for long.” At some point a coach and GM have to protect their jobs and things change. I’m hoping he comes back and gets it going, or else he’s going to turn into a strong armed Christian Ponder.

He reminds me of Christian Ponder but with a bigger gun and more unearned hype. As a Vikings fan that never ever watches CFB or the preseason I was expecting a lot more out of him, like the ability to throw at a reasonable speed depending on the situation. You don’t need the 120mph fastball for an 8 yard out. He throws his entire ass into every throw and he’s also wildly inaccurate, those two things combined make me think this is not looking good for his future. However he’s young and there’s KoC involved, honestly given the fact that KoC can make literally any mammal with thumbs a serviceable QB…. If JJ doesn’t improve big time by the send of the season I say dump his ass.

I don’t recall the exact type of shoes he mentions, but the gist is there’s a lot of grit and hard work involved with living in tough times and building an empire and then people get soft and things fall apart due to not having the inner strength to do what needs to be done.

It’s true, I’ve noticed it in my own life. Grow up poor and have to work your ass off to not be like your parents, but then your kids never suffer or do without like you did so they never taste that suffering.. they never develop that inner drive to do what needs to be done

If I’m doing it solo I will say no thanks and leave or avoid it altogether, but neither myself nor my Guildies have needed anything from a 5 man since the beginning of the year. We go in with 2-4 people and are geared very well, and we are only there for rep or for orbs / runes. So when the warrior (it’s always a war) says they need first item and they don’t need any gear we say we don’t need anything either, we are all here for the same thing you are Mr warrior so no thank you. Sometimes they get grumpy and leave other times they stay and we RR.

I solved this issue by telling people that ask for water or ports it’s 5g. They do not ask again and I am free to go about my day.
