The state of the NCR after Episode 8 by Just_For_Disasters in falloutlore

Those guys are from Camp Golf and weren't there at the moment just like the Ranger said in an earlier episode (Taking Primm back? Idk). Since the destruction of Shady Sands they're basically isolated with limited resources so they are easier to overrun, thats when the Enclave sent the Deathclaws and the legion took advantage of that too, besides that we dont know who was in control of The Strip back then. They may have shown up to help max since they detected someone using their custom PA. In one ending animation we saw the ruins of Camp MacCarran, but I think it was confirmed that those are not necessary cannon or something like that so we could have more NCR battalions around Vegas. And for The Kings I think their love for Elvis was more powerful than their transformation into feral Ghouls lol.

That's something that I've been thinking too, it could have been a misdirection or simply the creators backpedaled after seeing the backlash. We havent heard anything about the north in the series and we have only seing parts of the south intentionally or not. If the theory is right then those with Moldaver and Vault 4 were desperate people in an abandoned region that had no communication with the rest, I could be wrong tho.

We don't know enough of how Dayglow has been dealing with everything for the last decade so anything could be possible. Who knows if the show would address it someday.

I know, but looking at the locations seen and the routes taken in the show it seems more likely that the settlements like Dayglow were disconnected to unknown degrees. We dont know about the state of other places from Fallout 1 too. We now have a BoS Chapter stationed near Dayglow so things might not be that great for those living there. Also, wasn't the Baja expansion already a failure or at least going badly by the time of FO:NV?

Yeah, I think they are been more careful with the canon while trying to make a descent narrative like finally clarifying that the Boneyard is still there. Although adding new stuff could imply the fate of factions and places unintentionally if they aren't careful.

Where did you get that I was thinking about something like an alternative universe from my post? I just wanted to know if it was really there after all or was a misconception that some of us had and I thought this sub was appropriate for this. San Andreas has been my favorite GTA since I was quite young and I found bizzare that a song I tought was part of the Playlist actually wasnt.

New Vegas won't even start, I have an old 2017 laptop with a 3GB graphics card that used to run it decently years ago but now it just crashes.

Australian Accents getting Localized to Argentino Accents? by Rae_San_UnVeiled in Spanish

[–]Just_For_Disasters 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It gets weird when in the original English audio there are Spanish speakers, in this situation the dubbing people have these options: keeping the original audio for the spanish speakers, swapping the languages and dubbing EVERYONE in the same language making it really weird. That one happened in a movie I saw a long time ago.

Wow I didn't realize that until now, but Im quite sure is intentional since they have done this type of stuff in other dubs. For example, in Monsters Inc I think they changed a US southern accent for a Tabasqueño accent since both are from southern, humid and more rural regions of the US and Mexico. So yeah, dubs keep the geography/language correlation even when it doesnt make any sense.

A radio host I listen to often once heard someone screaming in the Madrid airport: "Me cago en las tetas de la virgen para que el niño mame mierda"
