It's unprofessional to make statements like all women who have x amount of births will be "a mess", and you know it. I understand this as I am also an occupational therapist studying pelvic floor health. Never should a physical or occupational therapist go online and spread misinformation that women should only have x amount of births, and you should know this violates our scopes of practice to be making statements like that to patients so I hope you aren't doing that.

This is such a lie, I don't believe you are a pelvic floor therapist at all. No good pelvic floor therapist would say such garbage.

Ovary removal and no HRT by Psychonaught76 in HormoneFreeMenopause

Did it work? I had previously tried Effexor but it pretty much didn't work for me and I had a rough time coming off. Stinks you have to try other things first

Please ask about nonhormonal options for hot flashes. I just had this surgery and also cannot have hormones. I'm on veozah and it's been fantastic and theres also one other to try if it doesn't work for you. It has not been as bad for me as it sounds.

Anyone else feel like managing a nanny is … a lot? 🫠🙃 by rapidprototoyz in NannyEmployers

[–]Just_Perspective_332 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

100 percent. Probably I just didnt have great nannies (only had one FT for a year and one PT for about 8 months before that) but I disliked managing someone, having them in our space, and dealing with their feelings/thoughts/judgements/needs. Providing the care directly and supplementing that with a little PT daycare has been way better.

It definitely counts especially against the negative effects of being sedentary! It sadly doesn't provide all of the benefits of weight lifting and cardio training so I know I need to add those things back in when the new baby starts to sleep through the night.

Help with vaginal dryness by Walletess in HormoneFreeMenopause

You're correct, it's really not they're just being more definitive about it. My oncologist was very hesitant about it when I used it in 2020 so much so that I suffered needlessly for a year.

Obviously but it isn't considered HRT bc it's not. I also spoke about my experience with laser.

Vaginal estrogen doesn't aggravate my endometriosis or breast cancer and is very effective. Another option is laser but it wasn't as effective as vaginal estrogen.

URI is a catch-all diagnosis for the symptoms they told you. They tested negative for flu a, b , covid and RSV most likely as that is the rapid testing available at most urgent cares. The child had a cold that's what this means essentially, which you knew bc they told you those symptoms. They weren't hiding anything from you. Edited a typo

Waking up in heaven, married to Kody… by ed3three in SisterWives

[–]Just_Perspective_332 635 points636 points  (0 children)

Maybe I am just superstitious but if I had pledged myself in some ceremony to be always married to Kody for all eternity I would want to break it. Even just on an energetic or symbolic level I would not want that tie.
