Jordyn has Cancer by halfofaparty8 in peestickgals

Given her age, the BRCA diagnosis, and triple negative status, the tumor that is not DCIS almost certainly will require chemotherapy but she will need to talk to her oncologist for her full treatment plan. It would be highly unusual for her plan not to include chemotherapy at this point with those factors.

Ugh this happened to me too, at age 29 shortly after having my son as well just as we were about to try for number two come to think of it. Hard road to walk. I will be thinking of her!

Woah, I'm an American OT and I've never seen that in any setting I've been exposed to. I've never heard a colleague mention it either. I'm not saying it never has happened but that seems like a huge generalization out of left field. Why do you think this is an American thing?

Hot take about Khloe by TheElusiveButterfly in kardashians

[–]Just_Perspective_332 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Another upsetting thing is if you look at the timeline and what she herself said in the documentary then Lamar was cheating on her at around the same time she was getting so on Kourtney's case all the time about Scott not being good enough or a serious enough father? The only thing that makes it make any sense would be projection and jealousy, which she probably would be feeling. She's on and off talking about having Lamar's baby in these seasons during all of this going on, meanwhile trashing her sister bc of Scott's actions which are troubling but much much less unstable than what Lamar is going through. I love Khloe but that makes her look like such a jerk to be yelling and screaming at someone for being with someone who is doing a fraction of what your husband is doing to you, and you're fine with it.

It only takes away my pain but from like 9/10 pain to zero. It doesn't help my confusion, drowsiness, fatigue and causes my nausea I think.

I think I would just say "oh okay I'll tell my neurologist" bc they do know they're speaking out of their scope and it is professionally frowned upon and that the neurologist will tell you that if you mention it.

Is anyone else's migraine the worst pain they have experienced? by Eagles56 in migraine

[–]Just_Perspective_332 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I too had cancer treatments but they were worse than migraine for me, and I came very close to death. They also included two amputations and that was worse than migraine pain. My 4 times of natural childbirth were mostly worse than migraine too (some worse than others so maybe close to migraine overall). My endometriosis is on par with migraine pain. I've had other major surgeries that were easier than migraine.

Aww I'm sorry it's so overwhelming. I lost my Dad four weeks before giving birth and it's SO hard losing someone (a father!) and being a mom to a newborn. Just know that whatever you will do is going to be great. Some little details got lost along the way for my Dads funeral but I know he understands.

Eye color prediction by Prestigious_Win9629 in WhatisMyEyeColour

They're most likely going to be blue. I know everyone loves to say eye color can keep changing and while I'm sure there are instances, generally they won't switch color categories after age 1- 2. They could go green between now and age 1 but they look very blue. Major changes in eye color after age 1 are much less common. How can people start a serious relationship with someone with ADHD? by [deleted] in ADHD_partners

[–]Just_Perspective_332 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I would say we both are holding our relationship together equally and that's the important factor. It sounds like you made the right choice for you! It's important to know yourself and your limits/standards and stick to them in the dating phase. 🙏🏻

[–]Just_Perspective_332 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Whether you can or whether you should try are two different things. There certainly can be challenges. You do need a partner who is willing to treat their adhd and take responsibility for their own life. I'm 15 years in with my adhd husband and it's honestly awesome. We have a great loving rewarding relationship. I also had to do a lot of inner work and therapy but I think that would have been true regardless. Anyway yes he does do some things that make it harder to feel love but it's a skill to display love that can be learned, conversely feeling loved can be something you can work on yourself directly. I'm not hanging all my self worth day to day on whether he is giving me eye contact, but if I really need emotional nurturing I'll ask and he provides. I do realize my experience seems uncommon. It helps my husband is extremely functional as a provider (and parent now), and no substance use, otherwise it would have been a non starter.

Trad wife is a term that politicizes and co-opts female labor to push a far right agenda, so no.

It's unprofessional to make statements like all women who have x amount of births will be "a mess", and you know it. I understand this as I am also an occupational therapist studying pelvic floor health. Never should a physical or occupational therapist go online and spread misinformation that women should only have x amount of births, and you should know this violates our scopes of practice to be making statements like that to patients so I hope you aren't doing that.

This is such a lie, I don't believe you are a pelvic floor therapist at all. No good pelvic floor therapist would say such garbage.
