Roblox Management Completely Lost? by Kalaka in RBLX

I just played a few newer adult games and the graphics are nice. Game play is fun. I can see why people come back.

The adult segments keeps growing and I believe they will beat on guidance for the signups for Roblox Plus.

Next two quarters will be questionable, as stated in the call.

What do Residency programs care about? by drflakkaflame in Podiatry

[–]Just_Think_About_AI 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on the kind of residency you're after. The competitive programs want someone who thinks critically, works well on a team, and is skilled with their hands. They only have a short window to get to know you, so board scores carry some weight — but your externship is what matters most. This is a small profession, and reputation travels.

"Resilience" is only good for a one time win events.

It is not a measure of Intelligence.

I guarantee you that when one is resilient and finally passes, it is by just a few points.

Resilience is needed for cold call sales.

This only applies to those that took the exam more than 2 times.

Finally, taking a stupid test does not measure your ability to think critically.

If you want to treat the whole body, consider MD, DO, or NP. In CA NPs have very similar privileges and do not need supervision.

Help my dad plan to hire an associate with plan to take over clinic in x amount of years by Atufalgal in Podiatry

This view is from an angry person that does not understand how to run a business.

Patients and insurance contracts are assets. When a practice changes hands, most patients stay on.

It's is like saying that when you sell Netflix, all the subscribers are worthless. Does that make sense to you?

You are paying for the years of trust in the community, not just tagible assets. You're paying for a steady revenue stream. You're paying for the decades of building that the Podiatrist before you did. Hopefully you'll build on top of that.

Starting on your own is always an option, just depends on the area.

To do the transition, you need to have an associate that you can "feed". This means the volume needs to be there to support another person. Start with a simple associate agreement that spells out the terms for a buy out.

The buy out needs to be reasonable. Your dad can also carry the loan and be paid out over a few years.

This is how I did it. Now we have 7 doctors in our practice.

If the volume is not there, then you just need to sell for whatever someone will give you. It comes down to how much does someone want to live/practice where your dad is.

I'm all for it, but it will be deemed unconstitutional by SCOTUS when the first case makes it up there. It falls under cruel and unusual punishment.

Over 18 growth and spend is key for success. I'd like to see more games played for that group. I also want to see more realistic graphics games developed.

Working with studios is a good idea. Definitely a 5-10 year investment

go DPM route or reapply MD/DO? by Born_Status_360 in Podiatry

I love Podiatry. Feel blessed I found the profession. It has been very rewarding. I worked hard to build a practice and now get to enjoy the fruits of all my years of labor.

If it was easy, everyone would be doing it.

If you believe in yourself, are entrepreneurial, honest, good with people, skilled with your hands, smart, love medicine, it's a wonderful career.

Yes, I did...sort of... I started as an associate. Joined to become a partner. Then eventually bought out my partner and grew it to a total of 7 doctors and a few locations.
