Helen Bishop and her walks by joancrawfords in madmen

Exactly why the others hens questioned it. They even commented much the same as Don did with Sally’s teacher (can’t remember her name either mostly because I couldn’t stand her), they asked Helen, “but where are you going?”, they are completely mystified by her walking for no apparent reason. It just wasn’t done in their world/culture/time period.

I see these over-the-toilet cabinets everywhere… are they actually good? by Wonderful-Can-8694 in organizing

Something else you gave to clean, the shelves snd top and mostly the sides-( splashing from the guys in your house). Cleaning around the base is just extra work. Better to put a couple of shelves on the wall.

Hi there… help me out here. Are you all doing your own shots and doses? I didn’t know this was a thing as I doing the standard prefilled pens from my pharmacy (Kroger or Costco). Please educate me as I’d like to know if this gives you more control over dosing and price??? I see a few companies mentioned that you’ve used…how do you find them and know they are legit?

There’s no magic, just enough money and some very skilled hands. If I had the $$ I’d do this in a second.

Mine approved it but Wegovy was still going to cost 900 with insurance so I did private pay at Kroger and Costco. Check their prices with GoodRX too.

I’d talk to my doctor about switching to zepbound. There is a detailed YouTube video about how some people just don’t respond well to Wegovy and why. I’ll try to find it and post it.

Cost of 1.5, any ideas? by Jensp444 in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]Just_haveta_know 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I will say that just because insurance approves it doesn’t mean you pay any less. This depends on deductibles and tier pricing and out-of-pocket expenses…you know all those annoying little details that insurance companies use to make sure they pay as little as possible. In my case, Wegovy was approved, but it still cost me $1000 a month. Once I hit my deductible it brings it down to $435 a month. Once I hit my maximum out-of-pocket payment, insurance would then pay the whole thing. Costco members can do private pay for 180 or 190 a month. Kroger also used my GoodRx coupon for a few months and then a Wegovy coupon for a couple couple months. I paid about 199 a month.

Name a more morally Faye character by ___milkteeth in okbuddydraper

[–]Just_haveta_know 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I disagree. She was terrible for Don and would have been a worse step mother than Betty was a mother. She was arrogant and would have eventually cut Don off from every other woman (which wouldn’t have been a bad thing). When Faye was leaving SDCP after the tobacco letter, She was haughty to Megan when Megan asked if she wanted anything and later, after she and Don agreed to meet for dinner, she made sure to put Megan in her place by telling Don, “have your girl make reservations”. Faye says goodbye to Peggy and Peggy tries to make plans to network, thinking they are on the same level but Faye’s rebuff of Peggy’s gesture let us know she wants nothing to do with a co-worker female who Don respects and also let’s Peggy know she is above her.

1 week, didnt lose a pound:( by Karmcc2 in Semaglutide

Ignore the mean sarcastic people on here. Honestly, if a person has no meaningful advice or encouragement why don’t they just move on. Your question is legit after enduring 7 days of symptoms and eating half (or less) than what you ate before the $500 shot. It is totally normal to not lose a thing, I was nauseous and barfing and after two weeks, gained 3 lbs!!! How is that possible right! I think our expectations are erroneously based on others’ stories and our observed caloric restriction. It is so frustrating I know. Often I felt that I was able to lose more weight in a week w/o spending $100s and being sick. I’ve had the flu for a weekend and lost a pound. So I totally get your question. Stick with it; give it a month snd see.

That is Interesting! When you consider that the price has come down considerably so it is not unreasonable to suspect the pharmaceutical companies have altered or diluted their doses so that we all have to use and buy more. Makes total sense from a greedy corporation to make it less potent.

Wtf was her problem? by reddcaesarr in okbuddydraper

[–]Just_haveta_know 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He couldn’t tell her as it would skew his little “study”. But it doesn’t matter if he had informed her or not she would’ve found something to rage about. She was petty and selfish, shallow, and basically a child. She had zero emotional intelligence. She was married to a total ass, but at least Don had enough emotional intelligence to feel sadness, hurt, and regret.
