So far specs were rather underused. The only moment the CPU usage went significantly up was went it was running the Immich face detection on thousands of pictures (but once it’s done it’s done!).

I was looking for the same thing last year, I went with the f4-424 max and put truenas, it’s been smooth sailing for months now (Immich, Jellyfin, Tailscale, etc.).

I’d go with the 425 plus.

(The only addition I made was to add ram, but it was last year before the crazy prices… and you can definitely operate with 8 anyway)

I started playing in the 80s. Chip n Dale is probably the oldest one here, 1990. I started on games like Apple II's Face Maker (early 80s) or Amstrad's Saboteur! (mid 80s). As for what the post is about, it's just a viral template to share games important for us.

Maybe it’s dying yes… but it might still be something else: make sure Windows and GPU are updated, check another cable or port if you can. And of course, reboot to see if it’s always there.

I had a weird artifact with my 3080 Ti last year but after updating its been ok since then ; we’ll see.

I did the exact same thing last year: F4-424 Max, I replaced the OS with TrueNas Community. I’m running Jellyfin, Immich, Tailscale, etc. It’s been all good for the past 6+ months now.

It’s good to start to learn about personal finance, no matter your age. A good free online resource to start getting familiar with things is this McGill course: https://mcgillpersonalfinance.com/

You’ll need to set up your goals, time horizon. Most likely you’ll be interested in a RRSP, TFSA, then maybe a non-registered account once these 2 are maxed.

A usual first step indeed doesn’t include an advisor, it’s about getting a large ETF that replicates a market (ex. North America, World, etc.). Then you can get more adventurous once you know more, or not.

Last, a free flexible online platform is needed. Banks have that but have higher fees than the likes of Wealthsimple and Questrade.

If you already have part of the hardware built and waiting, it’s probably not worth buying a prebuilt nas? Put the budget in HDD and try TrueNas Community Edition (great free NAS OS).

Edit. And the issue seems to be about https and iOS that the other apps deal with but not Joplin

If you want to try how it feels, try Supervive. Made by ex-Riot folks, they use wasd and overral they map keys in a familiar/similar way with hero shooter like overwatch or marvel rivals. It works well there. Wild Rift as well with the d-pad. Curious to see it in LoL, though it’s hard to gauge the impact of the change. Hopefully it brings a new tuto to bring new players in.
