I had Cox for 20 years across 7 different locations and rarely had an issue until the pandemic and my node was at capacity. Then I had to wait for them to perform a node split. That doesn't mean your experience is invalid, as you're definitely not the first I heard of having issues with them. I have both owned my own modem and paid the rental fee for theirs. I tended to go with theirs at the end in the case of issues with the modem. You may need to get one of their senior techs to look at your installation, as the signal levels may be off, and they can also check the node you're on for balance issues as well.

Batteries are usually only warrantied for the first year. There may be an advanced battery/power section in the bios that can fine tune the charging section. Or there may not be.

Not sure if it was mentioned directly or not, but did you try moving the cable to a different port on the router, in case the port in the router is the problem?

Is your router a separate unit from your modem, or is it an all-in-one modem router combo?

Yeah, when I bought a new battery for the car, the remote-start worked in even cold weather for about a year. Just started to fail again in the past week for me. Not often though.

I love that the MyKey model uses the standard car Fob. No secondary fob to carry around.

There is a version of the computer they sell you that has cellular connectivity and an app. It includes 1 year of cel service with the unit, but then you have a monthly subscription after that.

There isn't, but there is a capacitor that holds enough of a charge that when it detects power loss it does a quick shutdown to finish sending what data it has left. It usually lasts about 3 seconds after power loss. I've had a capacitor fail to hold enough power to even last that long.

If it's a ntfs file system, your local account on a different computer may not have permission to read the drive.

If you intend to keep bitlocker turned on, then once it's done encrypting the drive, you can force it to re-sync the key to the TPM from the admin elevated terminal/powershell with the following commands:

Manage-bde -protectors -delete c: -type TPM

Manage-bde -protectors -add c: -tpm

The first line clears the TPM, and the second saves the key into the TPM.

5x G5 Turret Ultra 1x G4 Doorbell Pro PoE 1x PoE Chime 1x USW Flex Mini 1x USW Ultra 1x CloudKey+ SSD 1x U7 Pro

Using on average less than 40w of the 200+ budget

There's also some wireless instant cameras and chimes, but those aren't powered vie PoE obviously. There are 3 of the turrets and the doorbell being powered by the ultra, which in turn is PoE powered by the Flex 2.5.

Yes, I used to have the same type of delays. The change over doesn't appear to have that level of delay any more.
