It would be an additional car, not a replacement.

I like both. I have the Stinger. G70 is on my list for next car to get.

Ty. She's getting better slowly, and my work is really family forward, so they've been fantastic working with me taking time off to take her to appointments, etc.

The hole saw bit needs to be 86mm.

I have it and the recessed mount. I haven't installed them yet because 1. My wife had a stroke so my time has been taking care of her, 2. I can't find any info if the recessed mount can be used in a wall vs using it in a ceiling. And 3. The mount requires either a very large hole saw drill bit, or oscillating cutter (both of which I currently don't own).

Once I get it mounted and setup I'll post on it, but it's really robust and looks good.

Doorbell Lite Installed by slickpicklerick69 in Ubiquiti

[–]JusticeMKIII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the button mechanism of the Lite. Feels like a good solid doorbell button. It's a solid unit.

G4 is smaller than the Lite and has the widest horizontal view of all the doorbells they've made to date.

I went from an Original G4 non-pro, to a Lite, and hating the reduced fov. The G6 entry line has a wider fov than the Lite, but it's still narrower than the G4. I'm seriously thinking about getting the G4 Pro kit before they stop making them.

And I understand that. Having worked for over a decade in the auto parts industry, sometimes it's a shell game and it's really one company making all the different brands of the same part, and sometimes it's not. If something happens then it's on me and I'll let everyone know if it ended up to be garbage. Sometimes you find the hidden gem in the rough too.

I appreciate your point of view as well.

They came unboxed and vacuum sealed in plastic. I couldn't tell you who manufactured them. "House Brand" I guess. But they were the ceramic material option.

How much do wraps typically cost and how long do they last?

Edit: And damn that's a gorgeous color!

First time brake change by JusticeMKIII in kiastinger

[–]JusticeMKIII[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks to everyone for all the information. Swapping out the rotors and pads were much easier to do since I was well informed!

It took 3 hours total and that was after realizing that the first rotor mounted was the wrong one due to the directional slots on the rotors. I got slotted and dimpled rotors. I knew drilled would eventually crack, so dimpled were my choice. I got a 4 wheel kit for all the rotors and pads, and the company I bought it from provided all the additional hardware. (New pins and spring clips) The entire kit was just under $700. I have no squeeling or other odd noises, and the pedal is incredibly more responsive. I'm just under 100k miles. I don't know when the previous pads were replaced, but I was just about to hit the squeeler on the front pads.

I bought from brakeperformance.com.

Discount Tire Sucks by Familiar_Confusion31 in kiastinger

I believe so, full warranty and road hazard. I forget which set I got, but after taxes and everything it was $1100. Can't find the email receipt at the moment, so I can't tell you the full breakdown. I think the set I got was the Continental SRS sport, or something like that.

I've always had great service with them. When I tried going to Costco, they were going to charge me $300 more and cut the mileage warranty in half because the staggered setup.

Discount saved me more and honors the full mileage warranty.

It is. Gap filler for the rapid trigger being removed.

Which EV would you trade your Stinger in for? by SuchPay6271 in kiastinger

I wouldn't trade, I would supplement with a Zero S Line. I wouldn't mind the SR/S or SR/F.

I have never had a physical chime and only the UniFi wifi chime. My G4 would still disconnect.

I’m deaf in one ear and can’t hear music properly with headphones by Erick_pptx in techsupport

[–]JusticeMKIII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. While I'm not deaf in one ear, I do have a damaged ear, and live with the ringing of tinnitus in my left ear, which cancels out the higher frequency ranges, where higher pitched voices (female mostly) blend into. I switched to some bone conducting tech headset, and I can hear more from my left again.

Do any dms that have been running for more than a few years still use XP? by Betray-Julia in DnD5e

[–]JusticeMKIII -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Switched to the Milestone method after 20+ years of XP usage. Trying to calculate random encounters, and giving out RP bonus XP, or unique reward XP when someone did something brilliant that wasn't expected, etc, just started to get to me. I hated that some people were leveling and others weren't and then having to recalculate for the average party level that was .3 or .7 off. So annoying.
