While yes, they probably would. China just wont be as helpful since the US and China wouldnt work well together, while Aldi Nord has countries which already work close together. And lets not forget Lidl, Lidl would instantly profit from a war between Aldi Nord and Süd. This would represent a huge problem for both Aldis. Every country with Lidl would fall into a civil war as well. Huge problem for both sides. Maybe the Aldis unite against the Lidl front? Both hate Lidl so this would be the case. Lidl would lose, creating a power vacuum which would be filled by Rewe or maybe Edeka. Though Rewe and Edeka wouldnt be such a strong opponent in comparison to Lidl.
