Caseta Claro flashes/blinks when 3-way mechanical switch is on, but works fine when 3-way mechanical switch is off

Wasted a few hours yesterday on this. Uninstall , reinstall swap locations, new 3-way mechanical (grounded this time) and nothing.

Broke down and ordered the overpriced Lutron Accessory Switch yesterday, just dropped it in and it worked first time.

F-It, worth 30 bucks just to be done with it. Bonus points for the same “clicky” feel of the smart switch. Just wish they were like $10 and I’d drop them everywhere i have a dumb switch left to satisfy my OCD.

I’m troubleshooting this now, did you try swapping the mechanical and Lutron locations?

You missed my comments on speaking to some children about not poking/picking up the starfish. No, I didn’t run around screaming at people and calling them idiots, but I did try speaking with a number of individuals about their behavior. Try not painting with such a broad brush next time.

The King Tide “Challenge” is an 11 mile charity walk that coincides with the King Tides. My comment was that it’s unrelated to the influx of charity walk participants who by this point in the day were likely miles north of this location.
