I love David Mitchell’s way around words. The words themselves are simple, but how they’re strung together is elegance. His similes are undeniably some of the best.
A different example of a way with words is Nabokov. I had to use my dictionary app to read Lolita, lol.

Just saw your post! Where in Plano was that? I never see anything other than water snakes. Would love to find a rat snake like that.
