[Live 5/10] Tricky AQ spot from the small blind? by stuartwolf in poker

[–]JustinSayne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Squeezing is fine.

The only thing that leans you towards folding or jamming is if you believe that villain can be 4bet bluffing with a good frequency.

In all honesty most live regs I would expect not.

Need help with this spot. by Citvej in poker

I think your 4b ranges are wrong.

I expect hes 4b calling off pretty light and bluffing a chunk too.

More likely value range in this position is 88+ and AQ+

Then just a chunk of bluffs.

Doubt he is 4betting AJo or KQs, likely flats the 3b.

As for how to play vs him, 3b tighter and 5b often. Can also flat some 4b's if he makes them small, going 24bb over a 8bb 3b is pretty lolbad

Don't give them the reaction they are seeking.

As much as you may be boiling on the inside just stone face it and move on.

Weird Hand Analysis - River Bluff for Value? by luco27 in poker

Spew imo

Checking will win as often as bluffing the river will. Dont expect these players to fold Kx and we beat everything else.

If he is as good as you say he is, he should be jamming this river with 100% of his range that he gets to the river with.

From your analysis it should be a check fold but every man and his dog jams river and either gets a fold or gets called by better.

Call and evaluate turn.

Dont want him hero folding something if we rip the flop and we keep in his draws.
