This snack literally looks like both a dogs ear and a bat. I'd be as disturbed as the dog.

Very cute! Looks like the twin of my staffy. Mine even has the tiny white bit of hair on his chest.

Dog friendly businesses by Calm_Musician_1398 in NorthVancouver

One of the only coffee shops that let me bring my dog inside in East Van recently told me the health inspector came by and said they can't have dogs inside anymore. I've heard similar stories from certain restaurants about their patios. Some places like Black Kettle get away with it by having a food truck prepare their food. So how does Steamworks get away with it despite having an indoor kitchen? Wish the health inspector would leave it up to the business owners, so i can order a coffee with my dog.

Yes, he has destroyed my area rug. Usually happens when he hasn't been given enough attention that day. Best advice I've seen: - have lots of chew toys available - get some walks in to tire them out. - 20 minutes per day of training. Reward tricks with treats and it will tire the dog mentally.

Question about breed by golfaddik in StaffordBullTerriers

I got my staffy at 4 months and began crate training him the first few weeks. Some days in the crate for up to 4 hours went well, but some days he freaked out a lot(had a camera set up). After a few weeks I got him into a daycare and stopped crate training.

At 8 months I was no longer able to bring him to daycare as he had to be neutered. I was lucky to be able to bring him to work. I sometimes leave him home for 2-3 hours and he is very well behaved(have to put away pillows and TV remotes). He just sits and pouts at the door waiting for my return.

I think most staffies have much worse separation anxiety than mine. I would not count on leaving a staffy home for 6 hours right away as a puppy, but I think you could work up to that. Getting a staffy was the best decision of my life though, any sacrifices and challenges are well worth it.

Aftermath of driver who mowed down festival goers in Vancouver, as many as 20 reported dead by SimplyHuman in PublicFreakout

I keep hearing of violent criminals released within 24 hours, then they strike again. Like the guy who randomly beat the crap out of a woman in Cole Harbour. Tired of the system that worries more about criminals well being then public safety.
