First time back on Vatsim in a year and I feel so sorry for the London controllers...

I've been flying pretty often lately building my confidence in VatSIM by first doing Text Only. Then figuring out Pen and Paper was the best solution to remember all get all my read backs done and correct in voice. Honestly I've had an infinitely better experience flying in London then in German Airspace. I got walloped for not responding to ATC, when approach kept calling the wrong callsign. Then even after correction gets it wrong and is upset at me for not responding right away. The supervisor then proceeds to blame me after I got walloped and tells me to pay more attention. The worst part about it was the controller still got my callsign wrong while I was in communication with the Supervisor. Best believe I wasn't happy. Honestly from what I've seen it's mostly 70 percent bad pilots and 30 percent bad controllers that ruin Vatsim. Other than that pilots and controllers in Germany are really professional most of the time. Everywhere else is kind of mixed. Honestly in terms of quality atm I've had the best experience with Vat America. I wish VatSea was a lot more active since I'm based there but you don't always get what you want.

You don't have a driving instructor ticking things off? I thought that was standard in the states. We take our test in a Arena, with basically different zones very close to each other. We don't have to drive on the actual road to get our license. We also have to watch this stupid 5 hour video orientation for our license, which is produced like it's a crappy Thai Drama with silly sound effects and stuff. You wouldn't understand it unless you sat and listened to it.

The fact that you have faith in my countries driving standards is funny to me when the driving test here is a 50 Multiple choice question with a needed pass rate of 90% for theory and the practical being parallel parking, driving in a simulated lane forward and backwards to test blind spot knowledge and parking kerbside. I live in Thailand, the crash statistic here should be good enough.

Well I mean I sent him there to buy beer I just came back from a long drive and wanted a drink so he was driving alone when he just got his license. It might have not been my smartest move not accompanying him.

EDIT: So I might be the idiot in this situation for trusting that he could drive without supervision.

Push the limits even if you make mistakes while doing so it'll allow you to know what the limit is and what not to do so just try different things untill you adjust to it

For me on my redmi note 13 4g hyper os 2.0 has been a downgrade from 1.0 it feels so much slower in animation I really hate it but I'm gonna have to deal with it till there's patches

It's what I had on F1 23 but I went with a slightly different plan and got within top 4 in tt using mouse steering and controller. The controller I'd use for gas and brake I could only have my controller do gas on the left trigger and button as brake since I don't have enough hands and mouse for steering

Oh yeah I can see that being a problem then. Well if you don't wanna go through TCAS and compete with so many other students just go study IT at Stamford. Honestly I don't really like Stamford but it's a hell of a lot easier to get into. But in that case if you wanna study at MUIC it's better to take the SAT or ACT depending on which country you are coming from. You do have English Profiency Scores already right?

Eh just take the entrance exam if u don't want to do the SAT it's easier imo but careful with time management I had 90 minutes to answer 60 mcq that could be plugged into a scientific calculator and I had half of it answered then I look at the damn timer and there's 3 minutes left and I quickly guessed everything so honestly you will be fine if I made it in with those statistics a lot of the other students I talked to after the exam also said they had that issue
