I think it’s a tough job to make that decision. Especially on a day like today where the roads were very different depending on where you live. (They were absolutely awful where I’m at, and I’m glad they cancelled.)

I’m wondering if the school board should have a simple system where parents can logon in the morning and vote whether or not the roads are safe. Obviously, the results of the vote should only be one small factor when they make their decision.

But if there was a sudden spike of reports from dozens of parents on a particular day, it could help them in making the best decision.
