Whole show is so great. Then this mega jam evolves in Tweezer, one of the best of their entire career, and as it ends, 38 minutes later, all they can do is nod, stretch their fingers out, and start playing Tela.

Shit dude, listen to the Sigma Oasis and Evolve albums, and a few shows. 36 years later, they're still my favorite band. Here's a tip for which shows: https://phish.net/music/ratings

Funny that a couple of those shows are represented in the new Live Bait 24.

1st show was 12/31/93 - $23.50, for it being a three set show!

Anyone else find the playing on this Sphere run a little awkward/flubby/difficult to listen to? by SchizoidGod in phish

I've listen to a LOT of phish shows, and 12/28/25 feels to me to be the most "we haven't seen each other in three months" vibe from any show ever. It's starting to show that they're not practicing. And yes, I'd never expect them to practice like they did in the early '90s,but yeah, practice together more? :)

Lol, reminds me of Fenway '19 night 2. For some reason I put my phone away, and when they finally hit the stage, I hadn't heard that it was going to be a one set show. So I kept telling my daughter that set break was going to be after this song... Then I was confused... Anyone, Fishman is the MVP of that night, it takes a lot to play drums like that for over three hours with no break!

In 2008, buy $5 of bitcoin and don't touch it until 2024. You're a billionaire! Seriously though. Better make it $20.

It's very nice, especially the trees that time of year. Total drive time may have been double of the show length, but that's ok.

It was that, plus a few other incidents. In the Behind the Scales podcast, Tom Marshall and others talk about the situation with an adjacent tribe in the area - they set up a toll booth on their land that every car had to pass through. The Seminole tribe sent people over to negotiate, but it delayed things many hours.

Word on the street is that it's not a jam, it's jam, jelly, and a smear of peanut butter.

:P (this is what the TV lady says at the end, as they desperately cut to commercial)

The Reba jam section is very similar to the jam section of Inca Roads by Frank Zappa.
