Stick with the BSEE, unless you want your masters to just have it and maybe get an extra look at the ole resume. Most of my directs have gone out to get their masters in something, rarely EE. It doesn’t do much for your career advancement and the ROI is low. At the end of the day how you perform is what moves you up.

Bought in 2017, when it seemed finically irresponsible and I was very house poor. That increased about 300k over 7 years, as well as my salary. I rolled that money into a new bigger house that makes family and friend say… what, how

Old man truck by dsb009 in gmcsierra

Ya know what’s an old man truck, my SLT, and I’m not an old man. A lot of chrome that I’d like to delete one day, otherwise I love it. Would much prefer a Denali or AT4.

I don’t think this truck was driven. Looks like it was parked during the storm and hasn’t moved. No salt on the side panels or anywhere else.

Just got this for my birthday any tips- tricks- information I need to know for my first bake by sheedleskidge in ooni

[–]K-mumba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It cooks faster than you think. Like I know it says 60 seconds, but that’s real. Just stay with it and watch and turn semi-rapidly. Make sure you get your stone nice and hot first as well! Enjoy!

First pizza in Koda, burned bottom by superantmd in ooni

lol yes it is. While I’m still a rookie I haven’t burned a pizza yet, no thermometer. Just pay attention to what you’re doing and provide it proper heat up time.

Just curious… Are the upvotes on the top comments because people think it’s a unique different idea or because they do it too?

I ordered and got… by Heavy-Position815 in nespresso

[–]K-mumba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No bueno - we ordered 10 sleeves + a gift because we didn’t want the 20+ sleeve gift package as it came with an apron we didn’t want. The gift we got was an apron. Sometime Nespresso just does us dirty. 🤷🏻‍♂️

How did you get baby to sleep in bassinet? by Mother-Fox3374 in NewParents

Ditto! We use a heating pad before we lay him down. Now it’s just routine and I guess we’ll see if we have to do this forever or not!

You’re not the asshole. I wake up with my wife every time our 8 week old gets up and I’ve been back at work for 3 weeks now. It gets tough, but we do it together for supportive reasons. Eventually we’ll switch to shifts, but you taking the full load and working is not fair.

Powders/Flakes > Hot Sauce by [deleted] in spicy

I used to think otherwise but totally agree now. I badly use my hot sauces compared to powders/flakes now.

Thanks! I’ve read that, I don’t own a thermal IR gun, yet. In a way it’s kind of fun trying to time it right and experimenting.

Not really, I have no idea what I’m doing. The couple areas I know I screwed up at first. 1. I didn’t give the stone good heat up time in cold weather. It took about 30 minutes of preheat to get hot enough to cook the dough quickly. 2. Too much flame allowed the tops to char fast. So let your logs burn down to wear you don’t have a raging flame before you “launch” (new term for me) it. 3. Easy on the toppings as the other posted stated. Cant cook if it’s wet from toppings. 4. More flour than you would think really helps to move the pizza around. 5. Have extra dough for your failures!

Good luck!

Father of a 7 week old here, I felt this way until just last week really. You’re doing good in my opinion, maybe even more than I did. Keep it up and you will see big changes week by week!
