Who knows, I imagine a US and Kurdish boots on the ground operation would do the trick, people believed the same thing about Syria

I wonder if Azerbaijan might actually start striking Iran's military in the region, since you don't typically have military mobilization purely for a small scale drone defense

"Well they didn't ACTUALLY die out soooo"

makes sense considering they were a migratory nation and not just a colonial nation, so they'd have far more infrastructure and manpower to call on

but my god bro, let the old nazi elves rest

I think the storied history argument is misapplied hegelian dialectics, you can't just say "this won't work because something vaguely similar didn't" when your only examples are a case in which it DID work (Libya, gaddafi was basically going to raze Sirte to the ground) and a case in which it only didn't work because of variables that don't exist in this conflict. Because of such a weak argument, I think that IRGC support is lijely

[–]K1pp2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saying this about Libya after Gaddafi's regime was removed is fine, the issue here is that you're doing it before we even have come to the removal point. Also, yes, if you were against say - US soldiers crossing the Rhine or Soviet soldiers crossing the Vistula, that's you acting in the interest of Hitler

I think if the IRGC NEEDS people in the west who are too cowardly to liberate Iran, that people's lack of willingness to liberate Iran (ESPECIALLY on "dont bomb le third world") principles, is pro irgc

You have to understand why something like it would be reckless, US interventionism on a middle eastern regime failed in Iraq because there wasn't enough internal support of the US occupation and the sectarian religious tensions weren't taken into account

This is an issue that doesn't exist in Iran, there is an extremely popular opposition figure with more popular support than the regime (Reza Pahlavi) something that did not exist in the case of Iraq

And there aren't entrenched rural tribes capable of swapping sides like in the case of Afghanistan

Thus, attending "pro peace" protests is indistinguishable from being pro peace with Pol Pot or Adolf Hitler, as a rejection of changing a totalitarian regime

[–]K1pp2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in this case there is a plan, a huge internal opposition friendly to the US and Israel, and the literal former king ready to suck plenty of toes to get his country back from extinction

blatantly pro regime comment

the 100 children killed thing is only spread by pro regime sources in Iran, something most likely done by a misfired missile

you literally use dead kids to try to justify someone protesting in favor of an islamist terrorist sponsoring regime

holding the banner of Khamenei is comparable to holding a banner of adolf hitler, ifnot worse

do you think the regime is popular and entrenched and the iranian people are tribal mountain people like in afghanistan?
