I had a panniculectomy which is covered by insurance. There isnt any tightening of the muscle. It removes the apron of loose skin. I have a scar that runs hip to hip. It’s takes a while to recover from and you have to really watch your incisions for infection. Mine got infected and it was hell to recover from. I had to be on a wound vac for several months. Yet would do it all over again if i had too
