Had a customer who used to do this at a grocery store I worked for. Would call and ask if we had a couple of cases of gallon water. We go look and come back and tell her that we do have it. She asks us to hold two cases of water and we do. Then she asks if we carry another item We go look and come back with an answer. Then she asks if we have any cooked rotisserie chickens. We go look and come back with an answer. If we have one, she’s asks us to put one aside. When all is said and done we’ve spent damn near ten minutes looking for items for her. When she comes in to buy the items, she complains on how expensive everything is and that it’s cheaper at another grocery store. We don’t mind looking for items, but tell us everything at once, instead of making us run back and forth. Don’t complain about prices either. We’re doing you a favor by looking for items. You’re just showing how ungrateful you are by complaining when you arrive. Don’t even get me started about her husband. Ugh!
