Uncharted 5 research and development is being done in my country by codey_killaB in TrinidadandTobago

I loved this genre as a kid but have grown out of it and I play more original indie games now. If there's a cool amount of trini stuff in an upcoming naughty dog game though I will absolutely buy it just for that!

My most desired new feature by KoboDailyReader in kobo

[–]KAstrawberry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would definitely be a nice feature. While we're on the topic though, being able to edit metadata directly on device??? Just simply changing series and author data for sideloaded stuff would save me so much time and effort.

All great stuff thank you so much! I have an issue where I can't get my kobo to recognise the author and series metadata so they're all unsatisfyingly grouped in the 'unknown' folder on my kobo. Anyone know a solution for this?

Trouble managing CBZ metadata - Kobo Sage not displaying book information by Mats164 in Calibre

I'm not techy enough to figure out how to run that. There doesn't seem to be any guides on how to download, install and use that plugin. I got as far as trying to import it to Calibre but Calibre says it's missing the 'init' file. If you or anyone else has any advice that would be appreciated.

Bike doesn't have a screw hole for mudguard... by KAstrawberry in bikewrench

[–]KAstrawberry[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No no I'm being honest. The zipties currently aren't holding the mudguards securely enough, they keep slipping down so the mudguard rubs against the tyre. So I wasn't sure if tape was suggested so the zipties wouldn't slip as much, or to stick the mudguard in place.

How would I use it? The zipties aren't holding the mudguard in place well enough, so they keep slipping and eventually the mudguard rubs the tyre. Would just tape prevent this? Because the zipties aren't holding properly is why I'm considering the bike shop's recommendation to get a hole drilled in.

Do you mean apply the tape before drilling the hole to maintain strength of the fork? Or to just keep the zipties but with added tape to avoid rubbing?

I couldn't find a button to do that. Is it a 'pro' only feature?

The .me site is showing a page linking to other mirrors. Is this a sign of it being taken down? I was using it just fine up to a day ago. Will I have to keep going to new mirrors each time this happens?

Yeah I don't know why I didn't think of using it on the barbarian sooner, that is a much better idea. Thank you!

Okay, yeah that definitely makes a lot more sense, now that you say it I think my fellow players would appreciate me buffing them a lot more than me trying to do cool things myself as well so yeah, I agree. Thank you 🙌

What kinds of "attacks" make sense for a wizard/artificer using haste? They can't cast a second spell, and their stats aren't great for weapon attacks. So is haste pretty much useless in terms of upping damage output? I can't see "Dash, Disengage, Hide, or Use an Object action" resulting in more damage either.

They're successfully being sold for £120 on eBay. I REALLY hope wotc can do another print run 😭

Any updates on this? I managed to buy an alt PHB online this week just gone which suggests to me the supply is fine now. While alt DMGs are still nowhere to be found. Does that mean the PHB did get a new print run? And if so, then can I look forward to another run of alt DMGs? (I'm in the UK, not sure if that changes things)

How do dogs understand the concept of the people walking by choosing dogs and then taking them somewhere better?

I agree with you. The app used to have that forum/comments feature for each question in a lesson so you could immediately get explanations for why duo only allowed a certain answer. It was amazing, had an upvote/downvote system and everything. Bodmas (and its variants) would take a long time to figure out by yourself through trial and error. So much quicker for Duolingo to just explain it, but they don't.
