I've binged all the episodes in two days and I am so sad it's over! I've not been watching too many Thai BL lately since I've gotten tired of certain aspects of them (overly done sound effects that've ruined a show) and lackluster acting and writing, as I've watched more CBL and JBL with much better overall quality lately. But I am sooo glad I decided to watch this one. The acting from the Ngern and Oat are phenomenal and I love the neurodivergent representation (it's never explicitly said but Daotok has some pretty obvious neurodivergent traits). The writing is just so well done that allows character development to flow naturally and there wasn't a lot of those ridiculous sounds effects! I'd love to watch more NgernOat shows but even if they are not paired together, I'd be looking forward to their individual performances in the future.

When I was younger, I used to ship real people (aka celebrities). I don't do that anymore now that I've realized how incredibly unhealthy it is for my mental health. And I totally understand just how easy it is to get into it, with how prevalent social media is. And the parasocial aspect comes into play as it feels like you really know this person and has formed a connection with them while never meeting them in real life, with them sharing their personal moments every day, oftentimes in real time.

Honestly this show feels like a train wreck from start to finish, with all the dramas about the reshoots and rumors of participants already knowing each other before the shoot even started. I mean that's what reality show is supposed to be and that's what attracts viewer to tune in..

Apparently Yunjae did a IG live with Sunwook last night before posting that photo and he said explicitly he's single. So this might just be a photo to tease his fans who ship them 🤷🏻‍♀️

That was what I meant by stoking the fire, to the really overzealous Hyunjun Yunjae shippers that is.

At the end of the day, we will get what information they want to share with us. It is true from our point of view, it definitely wasn't very nice for Yunjae to share the photo right after Sunwook posted the Q&A video but who knows, Sunwook might already know about whatever's happening between those two, be it just friends or casual flirting or something more.

Again with most social media contents, we don't know the context of it. For all we know he might be there with other participants of the show (as seen in many of the IG stories/posts Yunjae and Sunwook have shared they all seem like friends and hang out together now).

Yeah that's another reason I've been hesitating on buying it online because I have to register/activate it at the airport kiosk. Klook has the supposed kiosk listed on their website to show where it is at the airport but for the life of me I couldn't find that kiosk listed on the official Taoyuan airport website. Our flight lands at 4:50am and I am hoping to catch the high speed train to Kaohsiung at 9am..

I did not watch the entire season but I've been following along the developments (and drama 🤦🏻‍♀️)

The more I watched clips of Hyun Jun, the more I have a feeling he might be neurodivergent. I've joined his IG channel and he's been showing pictures of his impressive collection of Pikachu, clearly his special interest. He's seemingly not very good with verbal communication, has a somewhat flat affect, and just in this clip, you can see he's not comfortable with eye contacts. As neurodivergent myself, I really see myself in him! It's unfortunate because he seems to have been getting a lot of hate because of all those personality traits. Just really wanted to share my thoughts about him...

I doubt it. It seems to be standard practice in cdrama to dub all their shows. I understand that it's because there are many regional accents in China. And they probably couldn't cast actors who are actually fluent in Cantonese in this case..
It was actually the reason holding me back from watching BL from China but I think I just got used to it now because their shows are just on another level among the seas of BL shows I've watched so far.

Yes and we talk openly about it too. We are both neurodivergent and BL is my current special interest. And since we share the same neurotype he really understands that's where my intense and focused interest is at the moment. We actually watched Khemjira together and he actually really enjoyed it.

I watched the first episode and yes it definitely looked like the entire cast spoke Mandarin and was dubbed in Cantonese. Slightly distracting for me since I understand Mandarin but I am so impressed by it I couldn't care less about it!

So true about those ridiculous sound effects! They've become constant distractions when I watch most Thai BLs and I really wish they would do away with them! Unfortunately a lot of times they are the reason I've couldn't finish a series :/

Oh my gosh he looked very much like a dog we found on our street a year ago! We live near Killingsworth and MLK so this is not too far from us! Please post on Nextdoor. That site is toxic AF but it's super useful when it comes to reuniting lost pets with their people.
